I'm not sure if someone has asked this before but do the CS artists draw the PPS and the GUPPS new years pets at the same time? So the GUPPS is done a year in advance?

Probably. Or if not, they sit down a year later and pull out the PPS as a reference.

I have a group here with relatively all the GUPPS + PPS's and theyre all the same, plus all rainbow. I guess it wouldnt be suprising, theyre already preparing for the lunar new years & valentines day, why not get one dog out of the way a year in advance?

Your group is actually what made me have this thought haha. I was just thinking about it because they all are so similar that it doesn't seem they waited to redraw it, idk tho.
Also if you look at the writing on the pets they look nearly exactly the same which is why I also think that could be the case? Like they copied and pasted the writing.
