So I don't know if this is allowed but I'll class it under a paid trail run of sorts? If not I'll delete right away ;v;.
So I recently made a discord (it's intended to be a CS safe, PG friendly server for my species Fuzzy Raptors (it's still a work in progress), wrote the rules, got a bot and made several channels and I wanted some feedback on my work. Since I've written everything it could be biased or I could've missed something huge. Anyways your job (if you choose to of course) is to join the server and rate the experience using the form bellow.

Each entrant that fulfills the form to completion will receive one store pet from this group fresh from the CS store on a first come first serve basis out of 20 pets, of course peeps can enter past that limit but there's no guarantee of a prize, be aware that although you report your findings here, you register for a prize on the server. Include that you want to be deleted from the server in your introduction's post if you do and I'll delete/kick you by the end of tmmr.

Just a note, there will be time stamps on both when you register via discord and post here, if you try to pull a fast one you will be disqualified ;v; <333

Link to the discord please write at least 1-2 complete sentences for each of the question prompts to be qualified (participating in the pole would also be nice, yes).

What did you think was lacking in the rules
I feel like when you write rules, they should have a stand-alone channel. Welcome + Rules together are okay, but what really lets users know what you expect out of your community are two separate channels, one for rules and the other as an index for your server/species. Keep it as formal as possible, words like "frenlyness" is cute, but with guidelines, you want to have a straightforward tone. Try to keep your rules together, not in two messages separated as best as you can, try to keep everything brief as well. If you want example of what I mean, DM me on Discord, I'd love to help you format things!
What did you think of the structure of the text?
Honestly, a lot of it was jumbled, a lot of text within the channels is also very bunched, as people join the server hopefully, that text in channels such as suggestions WILL be buried, it's best you keep rules for each channel in your rules! Keep everything as straight forward as possible, a lot of things you have in some of your channels can be organized way better.
Was it easy to access?
It was alright to access, Rules, Welcome, Species Info and Roles should be in 1 category. The roles menu should be also split up into separate menus in order of type of roles such as Pronoun, DM Status, etc. A lot of the roles in order of the text didn't line up with the reactions either. Splitting them up will also help with ease of usage for each user.

What did you think was lacking in the rules I think over all you covered everything nicely for each portion. If anything some of the rules seemed redundant. Namely, between the main rules and different channels. The main rules cover all channels, so you shouldn't have to specify those again :)
What did you think of the structure of the text? I agree with the feedback from X X X, that you should condense the rules for the entire server into just the rules category- it makes for a long post, however its easy to find and know how to participate in each channel, and I highly reccomend doing that as well as posting each set of rules under an image that says what channel its for, maybe with a separation image too so that each is concise :)
You can also when setting up discord, set the channel description to a line of the specific portion in the rules.
Was it easy to access? I felt it was fluid and easy to understand, minus the confusion of the rules portions. I think a couple channels you can put all under one channel, for instance Welcome and Lodge.

it shouldn't take multiple attempts and a coffee break to understand.

as far as i can tell, the server rules are:

1. follow all chickensmoothie rules
2. don't be mean, this is an inclusive server
3. no mini-modding, ping a real mod
4. no sales that involve real-world currency
5. no spam

rules 1 and 2 are the big ones, and you don't need to repeat them. the link to chickensmoothie's rules is enough.

explaining the 3-strikes system in the rules channel makes sense, but it was so buried under all the other text i almost missed it.
if you trim the rules down, that part will become clearer, too.

why are there guides in the the rules channel? that isn't where people will look when they want to find them again.

the server itself? yeah. everything else is neat and simple. the only problems i can see are in the rules channel.

the species guide channel is empty, which makes me wonder why an option in your poll mentions it. there's nothing in your server for me to learn about your species.

7? hard to rate a server on a numeric scale

the server structure is fine, opt-in roles for pronouns and pings are always good to see.

you have a good variety of channels without having redundant or overly-specific channels.

right now it looks empty but that's because there's no-one there, it's new. make the rules clearer and i think it'll be fine.
