It seems to have created a seasonal favorite game of leaf catching and not just kits as apprentices and warriors join in on the fun. prey is still available as they continue to scavenge what they can before leafbare arrives. unfortunately, this means predators are also around as they catch things themselves. If Fernstar is willing, the old cat says, they would be delighted to call DewClan home.
↳↳↳ Squirreltooth's patrol catches x1 shrew and x1 rabbit. During the hunt, Skunkpelt receives a nasty bite on his paw from the shrew. He laughs it off and does not seek medical attention. However, it doesn't take long for his paw to become infected, and Skunkpelt must suffer the consequences as Ivyroot gives him the scolding of a lifetime. He will need x1 horsetail to treat the infection.
↳↳↳ Ravenfeather's patrol catches x2 thrushes, x1 squirrel, and x1 toad. By the end of the hunt, Ravenfeather's breathing is labored and she looks ready to fall asleep at any moment, fatigued from joining the morning's border patrol and then leading her own later that day. She does not need to visit Ivyroot's den, but she will be taking a nice long nap when the patrol returns to camp!

↳↳↳ Dunlinslash's patrol catches x1 small fish and x1 sea bird! The hunt is largely uneventful, asides from Otterjewel nearly tumbling headfirst into the water to catch a fish, so many of the participating cats are shocked to hear of Sandbelly's passing once they return.
↳↳↳ Gullhowl's patrol catches x4 big fish! Hoping to impress Dawnpaw one last time before her assessment, Mouseblaze tries to lure out a sea bird with a small fish. He ends up breaking his tail and losing the fish in a truly embarrassing scuffle with the bird. He will need x1 rush, x1 comfrey, and 1 moon of rest to heal.
↳↳↳ Carneliansight's patrol is uneventful. That is, excluding when poor Thornmist runs headfirst into a tree and gives himself a nasty concussion. He will need x1 poppy seed for the pain.
↳↳↳ Dipperduo's patrol encounters two warriors! The pair of cats are exhausted, having gone without food or water for days, and have only had one another for company. Dipperduo allows them to follow the patrol back to camp, leaving the matter of whether they will be accepted into the Outback Runners in Marbledstar's paws.
↳↳↳ Horizonprance's patrol picks up the scent of a large predator on the outskirts of their territory. Tigergem thinks its a crocodile, while Cariboubell and Grizzlysnarl are convinced it must be a dingo. Either way, it poses a threat to the clan, and a decision about what to do must be made.

Lynxcry loses their footing when a still-alive chicken breaks free, and the senior warrior sprains an ankle as they chase after their prey. They will need 1 moon of rest to heal.
↳↳↳ Harrierswoop's patrol encounters a warrior! The stray cat is found scarfing down a piece of prey from the freshkill pile. Sheepish after being caught, they apologize for the theft and promise to make it up to WheatClan by helping them hunt.
↳↳↳ Goldfishcracker's patrol finds x7 pebbles. Squirrelstripe is delighted with this discovery and tries to juggle them between her paws. Timbergrowl has to make her stop so he can actually count how many of them there are. Goldfishcracker just sits back and watches as her patrol dissolves into chaos.

Summary: Limpet joins the gang cos he still got issues with his older brother (Carrot) for not grieving for their mother long enough. He and Tempest's in charge with bringing Carrot to the Pine Grove, away from camp. Willow and Adder are in charge of making sure he doesn't run. Thunder is in charge of distracting Thistle so he suspects nothing. But they hit a new snag in Fox as he eavesdrops on them. AGAIN. But Icy catches him this time, killing him on the spot (and scaring the daylights out of Limpet). Limpet tries to back out but then stays for fear of his life. The plan is to be executed the next moon. Avocet isn't happy and tries to poison Carrot herself, only to kill his son Squash, as he is the one who ends up eating the poisoned squirrel. Dapple and Sand suspect Avocet is behind this one.

I’d like to join!

TruffleClan lives deep in the forest. There are plenty of trees and undergrowth. Moss grows plenty, making for warm beds. There are 2 known streams that run through the clan territory. The clan camp is in a big undergrowth of branches, moss, and rocks. The leader lives underneath the biggest rock, and uses the smooth top to give clan announcements. The deputy has their own den, close by the leaders. It is a small den in some brambles. The warriors and apprentices sleep closest to the entrance of the clan camp. They have separate dens, both made of branches and moss. The queens sleep closest to the back, near the leader. They have a soft den of leaves and moss, with branches for the shelter. The elders sleep between the apprentices and Queens. Their den made of brambles and moss.

The clan likes to eat on mice, small birds, and squirrels. Sometimes they get the rarer treats of rabbits, reptiles, and frogs. The warriors protect the clan from foxes, badgers, snakes, and coyotes. The bigger predators tend to leave them alone but sometimes they spot bears, wolves, deer, cougars, owls, and raccoons.

The common coat colors of the clan are shades of gray, brown, white and orange. Occasionally other coat colors emerge like Black and Tan.

The clan believes in star clan.

- A gray-striped tabby walked casually back to the camp, leaping down the rocks to land lightly on the sand before the water. Looking up, the tom squinted up the rocks. Another, thinner yet muscled tom leaped down and stood; his gray, tabby-striped fur flowing in the wind. The scars that racked his body were not an issue anymore, at least, from what the first tom could see. "Pyrrhus, what's the hold-up?" he asked impatiently, looking up the rocks.
Pyrrhus, the tom beside him, rolled his eyes lightly. "Well, Arno, your friend seems to not be jumping down."
Arno grumbled under his breath, "stupid kittypet.." and soon called up to the rock-face. "Animus! You up there?"

"Oh, yeah!" called another voice, light and full of compassion.
"Then what's the hold-up!?" snarled Arno from below.
"There's this weird cat up here!" replied the cat named Animus, their head peeking over the cliff. Their face was mostly a light lilac; almost a brown, with a white muzzle and neck.
Their eyes glittered as Pyrrhus raised an eyebrow. "Do you know their..uh, their name?" he asked.
"Nope!" chimed Animus, before their head ducked back over. Annoying chittering, incoherent because of the height difference, could be heard. Soon, a snarl erupted from the bushes they had walked past, and Animus's hind paws were visible. The left brown, the right white. It was quickly seen that Animus was clinging onto the rock with two white paws, wincing as their thinly-furred stomach scraped the rough rock.
Arno's ears raised in outrage before a black and white face appeared from the undergrowth. The white, thick fur covered their muzzle and the area around their ice-blue eyes. A hiss sounded, piercing the below cat's ears. "Screw off, collared one!"
It was a female voice, and a pure white paw flashed at Animus's foreleg. It cut it loose, though no claws were used. Arno growled up at the female, but as Animus lost grip, dashed to catch them; in the way a cat could.
Animus thudded down; belly landing on Arno's back. Arno grimaced before dropping the light cat, and the female looked at them from below.
Another cat, female; black, classic tabby stripes swirling around her ginger; almost dark-orange fur. "We heard a thud and some hissing, is everything oka-" seeing Animus with a scraped paw huffed and walked towards them. Sniffing them, she declared, "They're fine."
However, Arno just growled at the female, "not now, Imbe! We have an intrude-"
Pyrrhus huffed. "They're gone, Arno. Go follow their scent. Now."
Arno just growled at Pyrrhus before bolting in a sprint, his Molar instincts kicking in. With an agile swerve, he tore up the cliff-face, taking a few minutes to actually get up it. Thankfully, he hadn't torn a claw. He scented the ground but caught nothing. Just a- a gray tuft of fur? The fur wasn't black then; it was gray. How did she hide her scent so well?

"She's gone, Pyrrhus." he called down to his incisor.
"Then I'll come with you, and patrol the area," he said. He then looked down at Animus, who had recovered, shaking their collared head and neck.
"You'll be following me." -
