"Honey.. your mama is with the stars now." Seasong said. "The dogs.. took her soul. She's not with us anymore. She's still listening to you, she just can't talk to you."

Seasong stared sadly at the kit, who broke down crying. Seasong lay down beside Honey, until Honey fell asleep. Seasong carried Honey back to camp, and silently agreed with Tinystar that she could stay. Tinystar also said that Honey could sleep in Seasong's den, until Honey felt comfortable enough to sleep in the kits den.

In the morning, Seasong quickly carried Honey with her to Fallenrains, who is standing outside the den. "Hey, Fallenrains. Look what I found; a kit I can take care of!" Seasong looked down at Honey, and with that, Seasong's eyes gleamed with tears in them.

Honeykit

The kit had slept, curled up with a cat she doesn't know. Why did mama go? Whyd she leave like her papa did? But seeing FallenRains her face breaks into a grin, "Ghost!" Is cried out in joy. "Ghost!"

FallenRains

He's smiling at Seasong, "congratulations. " Is answered, wondering if its even allowed for the medicine cat to be even a foster mother -- that is, before he sees the kit. His face freezes, smile breaking apart. Until he hears what she calls him. Who he was.... WHY is she here?! "Bumblebee? Where's your Mama, and your Dad? Where's Apple and Park?" He questions intently, "what happened?" He'd correct the name later...

HoneyKit

"Im Honey now." Is said softly, but determinedly. The kit frowns, "Papa, that is, Park, the humans machine killed. And Mama, Apple... the dogs." She sniffles at that, before pushing past the medicine cat and crying into the silver cats chest.

FallenRains

Looking at Seasong apologetically he stoops to comfort the kit; "you're safe now. You can stay with us, here in the clan." The silver cat quietly sits down, making soothing noises, and after a minute or so, "are you hungry?" At the kits' nod he rises, "I'm hungry too. Are you hungry Seasong?" He asks, watching as LightningStrike drops a fat rabbit on the pile. Not waiting for a reply, "I go by FallenRains now. Remember?" Again the kit nods and he licks her ears. "Let me get my - er, let me get Sandkit and we can eat."

The sooner the kits settle in.. the better.

The she-cat awoke to yet another commotion, she decided not to get up and instead to cover Sandkit's ears a bit to block the noise. it was only then that she realized that Fallenrains had left the den and was making conversation with... a kit? Curious. seeing that Sandkit was still sleeping soundly, she waited a little longer before finally getting out, stretching her sore muscles.

After a bit of confusion from his wild goose chase, Ripplefield went back to camp, exhausted and defeated. As soon as he returned though, he saw Seasong standing outside of the medicine den. This made him groan and just pad over to Wildbreeze, apparently, he had been following yesterday's trail and didn't realize it. he rubbed against his mate and murmured comforting words, if Seasong appeared relaxed, so perhaps Aspenpaw's condition should be milder than they had thought.

so uh, I'm kinda confused here, we time skipped in the beginning but apparently we didn't but now we did again? I'm just going to... ah- assume Seasong sleeps in a different den than the med den or something.

The tom-kit wandered aimlessly, looking fearful and thin with hunger. His head throbbed as he tried to make out where he was through the rain. It had been so long since he had the comfort of his mother by his side... oh how he longed for that again. His legs were sore, his head hurt, and his stomach snarled at him, he needed to find a new mother, no matter how much it hurt. And fast. At only two moons old, the poor dark brown tabby tom-kit struggled for survival as he wobbled through the forest.

Quietpaw gazed around, a worried look on his face. As usual. He looked for Seasong, wondering if she could tell him what to do. He wanted to be occupied, he needed to be helpful..after all, if he wasn't helpful, the clan wouldn't need him...
