Sadly, you can’t get new fruits, it requires trading. You have a main fruit and a sister fruit. You also have a chance at getting a 3rd from your mom when you first start the game. The other fruit requires online… which is dumb.

Well that sucks... Nintendo Online is such a dumb idea in itself honestly, Never had to pay for the same stuff it offers with New Leaf : (

Yea all newer consoles require extra payments for online play. I won't play FFXIV on console because it requires purchase of the game plus 2 different monthly subscriptions (online play for the console and a play pass for the game) which is ridiculous. A lot of companies are just getting extra money hungry 😒

So I might have found either a different bug with HHP, or a weird game design thing.
So yesterday, I was designing a place for a villager, and I wanted to use the cherry blossom trees for it because it would have gone with the theme. I switched the season to Spring, just like I had for other vacation homes in the past, but this time the trees didn't have blossoms on them? Never had this issue before. I thought maybe it was because of the plot I was using and brushed it off. But just now, I'm on a plot that I specifically remember I put cherry blossom trees on before, but now it's not working. So, but or game design?

Admittedly I have a lot of favorite villagers, so surely enough I have a few favorites on my island currently XD even then I get attached to new ones I’ve never seen before. Anyways I now have my first 10 villagers. One of them is a gorilla which I despise but the rest of them are cool. Bam just moved in as my 10th villager and I’m so happy, I also have 3 wolves!
I’d love to hear anyone else’s first 10 villagers??

First 10 were ; Plucky, Bam, Egbert, Tutu, Caroline, Leopold, Octavian, Freya, Marina, and Moe! I still have Bam and Freya out of those. :3 Leopold went for Cole and then Julian, Egbert went for Punchy and then Zucker, Plucky went for Frobert then Pashmina. Everyone else was such a hot mess of houses going in circles around my island that I don't actually remember who went for who? Congrats on Bam, he's a great villager although perhaps I may be a wee bit biased considering I've had him over a year now!

Which three wolves do you have? I have three wolves too, I want to know if we match.

Little bit of a warning for your own stomach, you do not want to know what pigeon milk really is. Yes, pigeon milk is a thing that exists in the real world and is not something that Nintendo came up with. I looked up what pigeon milk really is, and it freaked me out to think that's what Brewster puts in the coffee, more so because I'd hate to imagine a real coffee shop using pigeon milk in their coffee. Long story short, you'll be grossed out if you know what pigeon milk really is and the fact that's what's going into your coffee.

God it's not that bad and it's just a silly naming thing, Brewster isn't actually using crop milk in a funny little kid's game.

On an only vaguely related note, I miss having more options in roost :') things like which beans, if you want milk or not, sugar etc, heck even just the option to request "the usual". I always used to have the pigeon-milk latte (yeah yeah above mentioned grossness with what pigeon milk actually is, moving on). It sounds kind of silly but I just miss that personalisation, you know?

One of my friends caught on to how much I love Brewster and themed my Christmas present around it, and honestly it was amazing haha. A 'the roost' scented candle, Brewster pin badges & a keyring and a little Brewster handmirror, all wrapped in a white box with a red ribbon like one of the balloon presents. She did want to put a balloon on it but the box literally flew away when she tried that and it wasn't worth risking on the train bahaha

I can't be the only one that's creeped out by Rodeo, right? He's even creepier than Coco, imo. I just made a vacation home for him, and if it wasn't strange enough that he wanted a "wizardly tower," he wanted the suspicious cauldron included. Now I've used the cauldron a few times, and every other villager interacts with it like you would expect. But that's apparently not good enough for Rodeo. No, he performs the "haunt" reaction when he's near it. Absolute. Nightmare. Fuel.
