dedicate one store pet set to nearly extinct animals

sorry if this has been suggested before, i've tried looking and saw nada. but if there is a topic on here already i will gladly support!

i've been donating to wildlife causes for the past 4 years, and it occured to me that i would like to see cs be a part of something bigger by partnering with a non-problematic wildlife conservation one time in the near future.

a lot of animals are in danger of going extinct, and i know i would buy the heck out of store pets if i knew that some of my money was both supporting the artists on cs and a wildlife conservation. (A percentage of proceeds, is what I meant, not the full amount of proceeds)

Edit// would be artists choice of animals, but I wanted to keep it open to artists decision but keep it on topic with the partnership (if you're supporting pandas per say, something Panda themed or a Panda store pet)

a lot of animals are being threatened with extinction every day due to overhunting, or human caused changes to nature.

Lots of c$ rolling around here is already bought and wouldn't be useful as real money. The only way this would work is making real money only pets and I don't know how cs feels about that

I'm not against the Idea, but it sounds a bit "vague" to me...

"a lot of animals are in danger of going extinct" => Then, hum, OK, then mention maybe which Animals/Species you have "in mind", we already have some Monkeys, different "exotic flying Beasties" + Bats, some Spiders, Wolves + Lions + Tigers, some Giraffes and Krokodiles, and even Dragons and Butterfly-Wolves which are already completely "extinct"...!?

Maybe if a certain amount of C$ bought during the two months went to charity, and the store set was based around endangered animals? Because CS still needs to make money, but it would be great if some of that money went to good causes too! :)

Yeah that's what I was trying to put across tbh. Like a percentage of the profits go to the organization. I know I would buy a ton of c$ in those months if that were the case, and I know a few other players that would too.

It is doable. Other "pet websites" do it like once every year with their online currency and it works, I feel like cs is big enough at this point to do it too.

If someone didn't want to buy c$ because they already have tons of it, they could donate directly to the org.

I feel like this could have been worded a bit nicer. There are many species cs could choose from that are almost extinct, my point was I wanted them to choose, because there are a lot they could choose from, artists choice

I don't want to be rude by not responding. I'm sorry for not going into more detail, I have a reading disability that makes it hard to convey things properly. I probably should have asked someone else to make the suggestion. Does my comment above make better sense?

This would be a nice idea, but I foresee a lot of backlash about which charities end up being supported or not supported, and there will inevitably be people against them for whatever reason, so CS doing something like this may be aligning itself with a third party which the site has historically avoided.

this website isnt nearly as popular as it used to be and i imagine it takes a lot of money to keep it running, not to mention having to pay all of the artists, so idk if they can afford to put aside c$ money for something else.
