Didn't get the Festive Tree DIY. :c Oh well, maybe next year...unless they're still available after Toy Day? I dunno, I haven't really gone out of my way for DIYs like this before.
Anyways, I got Happy Home Paradise for Christmas (along with three other Switch games lol) and I've been enjoying it so far! I'm usually not that great at decorating things, but I feel like I'm learning a lot about home decoration. c':
Off-topic slightly, but it's kinda funny how I went from barely touching my Switch, to hardly being able to set it down ever since Christmas. Used to be I would only have to charge it once a day, or every other day. But even just today I've had to set it on the dock twice. eue

woundering if anyone knows sites like nookazon for item tracking/trading , just want to try nd trade more and i know not eveyrone uses nookazon

I like using an app called “AC fan”. It’s waaaaay more chill than nookazon. You can make wishlists and such on it like you can on nookazon. Plus it makes managing a line so easy when hosting.

There is also some trading communities on discord and reddit but they don’t have the item tracking. Though I guess you could use a website called villagerdb for that part?

Oh and glad you’re enjoying the DLC clock! The DLC is a ton of fun. I only wish there was a way to reset your progress so I can do the story over. (I mean I can by playing on alt accounts but I prefer playing using my main account)

So apparently you can still get holiday DIYs after Toy Day. Just got an Illuminated Tree DIY from Shari. Would have been nice, I dunno...three days ago?! ;n; I mean it's not the Festive Tree but it would have been better than nothing.
Oh well, maybe I can at least get the other tree before the new year.
In other news, I won some money from a Christmas scratch-off ticket so I gave it to my dad so he could buy an AC-themed case for my Switch. Having a dad that works at Walmart has its perks. He said it was the last one! c':

Question: Has anyone else come across this annoying issue on the HHP DLC? A couple of times now, namely when I was decorating the hospital and now when I'm trying to decorate a villager's vacation home, I haven't had all the same items available to me as I've had previously. For example, with the hospital I wanted to use the Pharmacy Wall, but it wasn't there when I looked for it. And with this villager, she wants a fairytale theme, so I wanted to use those castle walls, but they're not in my inventory even though they were previously. Is this a bug or intentional?

Guess who just got two Festive Tree DIYs the past two days? c': I got the big one and the tabletop one. Now I just wanna make the gift pile, but there hasn't been any red wrapping paper in the store. :c
Oh, also! Guess who just invited lazy villager #6 to live on their island? ;u; It was just the perfect storm, I tell ya! Isabelle said there was a camper, and as I was on my way to see who it was, I ran into Claudia, who asked to move. I said okay, then went to the campsite. Lo and behold, Paolo is in my campsite. Not only is he pink, my favorite color, he's also an elephant! I've always wanted an elephant villager, so after some convincing and multiple card games, he's moving in. c':
Update: I found a WALLOPOID. Today is a good day.

No, I was looking in the regular wallpaper tab for the wall I wanted for the hospital and it wasn't there. I combed through it for at least 20 minutes and nothing.
I did find the castle wall I wanted eventually, at least. Guess I'll just pass it along to Nintendo's support team.

I am having such bad luck getting any new fruits, still don't have Pears or Oranges and I can't find bamboo either My nook mile ticket rolls suck lol

Sadly, you can’t get new fruits, it requires trading. You have a main fruit and a sister fruit. You also have a chance at getting a 3rd from your mom when you first start the game. The other fruit requires online… which is dumb.

Admittedly I have a lot of favorite villagers, so surely enough I have a few favorites on my island currently XD even then I get attached to new ones I’ve never seen before. Anyways I now have my first 10 villagers. One of them is a gorilla which I despise but the rest of them are cool. Bam just moved in as my 10th villager and I’m so happy, I also have 3 wolves!
I’d love to hear anyone else’s first 10 villagers??
