Blue raced around trying to find a hiding place. She found a hollow within a tree and the black German shepherd duck inside the dusty place. The gloom hid her black fur perfectly and it was big enough for her to be comfortable.

"SEVENTEEN! ............... EIGHTEEN!!! .................. NIGHNTEEN!!!!!!! ................ TTTWWWEEENNNTTTYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! READY OR NOT, HERE I COME!" Victoria shotued, running all over the place.
After about a half an hour. Victoria gave up.

Blue laughed and stepped out of her hiding place her eyes shinning.

"AW MAN! I SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT PLACE!" Victoria said, slapping her forhead. "Well, your turn to count!"

Blue nodded and closed her eyes. "One...Two...Three..."

Victoria smiled and hid behind the fattest dog there who was sleeping.

Blue finished counting and barked, "Ready or not here I come!" The puppy put her snout to the ground and began to sniff around. Without any luck she ran, searching behind trees and in holes. She poked her nose inside a small cave and behind a rock. She ran around tail up as she looked into the hollow she hid in. She placed her forepaws on a tree and looked up into the lowest branch, but to no avail. She glanced in a small gutter looking thing and in an abandoned tent looking thing left by humans. Blue frowned her tongue lolling out of her mouth. She once again tried to sniff out Victoria but the only smell was the reeking scent of rotting meat and a water. "I give up" she barked.
