slowly working on my forms! i will be preparing the full allegiances soon with NPCs, so you can write down physical descriptions to the ones you've created, then they'll be added. can be within your character forms or a separate post with all your NPCs.

also, i drew a little something of gingerclaw and swansong together. big wife, small husband...

i'd love to draw more of our characters as the roleplay progresses!

if y'all have NPCs that are living family members, make a post with basic information about them like name, gender, age, physical description and their relationship to your main.

for worldbuilding ideas, i'm thinking that shadeclan has a tradition (called the snowmelt) that after the end of leafbare, on the first day of the snow melting and the newleaf beginning, they have a celebration as one clan. the leader commends everyone on their progress through the past year and addresses significant events, and makes a speech for the future of the clan. there is a lot of sharing tongues and bonding among members and overall a spirit of hopefulness and pride in their survival.

the holiday they celebrate from the passing of newleaf to greenleaf would be a bonding experience. cats will be grouped or paired together for heart-to-hearts with clan members they are not as close with and usually don't talk to, to create stronger bonds and understanding and camaraderie among the clan. tales are told by the best storytellers in the clan and everyone has a merry and entertaining time.

the holiday they celebrate from the passing of greenleaf to leaffall is the thanksgiving, starting with a prayer to starclan in thanks for the fruitful months and guidance for the new season. dead leaves are gathered and decorated all over the camp, also doubling as play things for the younger and energetic members of the clan. everyone in the clan then personally tells as many clanmates as possible how they are thankful for them and compliment them on their character and achievements.

the holiday they celebrate from the passing of leaffall to leafbare is more solemn. it is called the snowfall vigil. upon the first fall of snow in the forest, the medicine cat (accompanied by their apprentice if they have one) will travel to their [moonstone/moonpool alternative in this universe, maybe a waterfall?], looking for omens sent by starclan for the future along the journey. when they reach the location by nightfall, they sleep and memorize and examine their dreams and interact within it (lucid dreaming) and receive guidance from their warrior ancestors, sometimes through literal manifestation of dead cats and what they have to say, or in the symbols and themes in the dreams. they do this for three days. afterwards, they take this knowledge back to the clan and announce the vision for the coming months. everyone stays awake for a silent vigil of prayer to protect them in the harshest season.

which holiday would you like to be the starting point of the roleplay?
i'll have to think about how the flames start off and if they celebrate anything.

All of these holidays sound super cool!!
It's always super fun to mess with special clan traditions and rituals so it's great to see you put so much thought into them <3
I think snowmelt would be a great holiday to start with, even it'd be more in the spirit of the current season to start the roleplay in leafbare
I just think snowmelt would be a good opportunity to establish some relationships and get the ball rolling :3
