It's fair to say that many of us don't know the current two Rarity Guides inside-out and backwards.
So when the time comes to adopt those exciting rereleased pets, it can be a pain to dig back and find out if the little one you adopted is going to grow into one of the most valued pets on the site.

Fear no more! Just take a peek through this guide and see if the pet you've adopted matches up with a pet on the list!
This list contains all pets that are guaranteed to grow into list pets as well as pets that MIGHT have a chance of becoming a valuable pet - so be sure to check the details for each one before you make any trading decisions!

Since this is about rarity, the two rarity guides were used. Since the rares list is discontinued and out of date, this guide was created without referencing the old rares list. The The 'Popular Demand & Value' Wiki 3.6 only talks about demand and only contains pets from the old rares list. The guide hasn't been updated since 2021.

Special release zebras

They're not URs technically, but there are two main ways to adopt a Zebra.

1.) Get lucky and adopt it on Dec. 18th

2.) Every month there’s an EXTREMELY small chance you’ll get one when adopting the horse/pony litters.
We don't know the exact odds but from pure speculation; 1-3 people each month talk about getting a zebra. Compare this to hundreds of users adopting; that's VERY low.

Item re-release

Started as a surprise in 2023, December 24th had brought us our FIRST item Re-release!
Note that retired and current store items do NOT get re-released, just like pets.

Items do NOT have a rarity system like pets, which makes it more difficult than pets.

When you get an item re-release; look closely at the items you've adopted, and ask yourself;



• Do I recognize this item?
  
  If you cannot find it in the archive, it COULD be an Un-Released item OR a VERY old item!
  
  
• Does the lineart look different?
  
  Older items have a more sketchy/simple charm compared to new ones.
  
  Example;
  2008 items...
  
  
  Versas... 2024 items
  
  
  With a keen eye, it's easy to tell more recent items have a 'clean' look compared to the charming loose style in 2008 items. :)
  
  Older items ARE more valuable than RECENT items.
  
  NOTE: Not all recent items have a clean look!

'List' pet: Community term for a valuable pet that's on a 'list' of the most valuable pets on chickensmoothie. (see horror's list below)

Horror's list: Term for a valuable pet being listed on this guide

Risk pet: A pet that can grow into a valuable pet, or just a regular VR/Rare outcome. (Example: One pet has 4 outcomes. It has a chance of growing into 1 outcome, the most valuable out of the possible outcomes.)

Ninja-trading: Community term for VERY unfair trades being sent in hopes of obtaining valuable pets for cheap.
