Oliver trotted a little ways up the mountain and peered down at the valley. His curious nature overcame his caution and he had to get higher. Little by little, the young stallion edged up the mountain, flicking his tail in concentration. He lifted his head and his delicate nostrils flared, picking up scents. He let out a low neigh to anyone who might be near by.
Edeline danced along beside the watering hole, her neck arched and her chin touching her chest. She whinnied every now and then, mostly out of joy. Edie knew she needed a herd soon, but she wanted to enjoy her freedom as long as the independent mare could.

Golden flicked her tail as she grazed, letting out heat scents. She looked up, chewing grass in her mouth then lowered it again, pulling up more bits of lush green grass amoung a forest.
