I plan to just toss all my characters- so I guess we can just say they died sometime? They didn't have mates or anything so I don't think it would be too influential to just get rid of them all.

I plan to bring in some nice new cats! If anybody has ideas/wants a relationship with a possible cat of mine hmu ^^ I'm open to making things that fit into existing ideas

Hey guys! It's so good to see that most of you are still here <3 I missed you guys and this rp a lot, and I'm so excited to be getting a fresh start on it! Here's what I imagine happened to my cats during the skip, although some of it depends on other characters that are not my own, so I'll mention you if your characters play a role in what happened to mine and you can let me know your thoughts! This is all subject to change of course.

First off, I'm going to combine Southstar's and Tigerblaze's stories because they're very interconnected. This one is a doozy, but bear with me! @Pawprints, I'll need your input for some of this!

Southstar had his last two secret litters with Oatleaf and Goldenrose respectively, before several factors finally made him decide to put an end to his promiscuous ways. Oatleaf's death just 15 moons later left their kits with no parental figures, as he could only ever be there for them as their leader and could never come forth as their father, and although Goldenrose was a present mother to their kits and had told Southstar prior to their birth that he needed to be a responsible father, like with all of his previous litters he could never truly be there for them as a father figure, not because he didn't have love for them but out of fear for the clan discovering his secret. If he played with them, he'd play with all of the other kits in the nursery too so it didn't look strange, and he only ever kit-sat them so Goldenrose could get some fresh air and stretch her legs. He was never the father or mate she wanted him to be, but he did discover, throughout the little time he spent with Goldenrose's kits and the moons and moons he'd spent watching all of his kits from various litters grow up around him, that he did want to be a father; a true father, a present father, not simply a biological one. One who could be there for his kits and help raise them and whom they could call their father. But he wanted them with a she-cat he cared about and had feelings for, and the only she-cat in the clan that fit that bill was none other than his own deputy, Streamspot. Though he'd had fleeting feelings for other she-cats throughout his life, none had ever lasted or been particularly deep, and the rest he had only used for his own pleasure. Streamspot was the only she-cat he had lasting feelings for, and though it took him a while to realize it, he finally did after Goldenrose's kits were born. He started spending more one-on-one time with his deputy, although he didn't rush things, but rather worked on cultivating an actual relationship. He wanted to earn Streamspot's love and subsequently her kits one day, as well as redemption from the debauched, irresponsible tom he used to be, even though no one knew about that side of him...or so he thought.

@Pawprints I forget how much we discussed but I imagine Southstar and Streamspot eventually became mates and had kits, but down the line when all the prophecy stuff kicked in and Fawnpaw, Bramblepaw, and Thunder (his last kits with Honey) were fully grown, a huge scandal happened where Southstar's affairs and the resulting kits were revealed. It would've been Tigerblaze who kickstarted this scandal, as he had connections with cats outside OakClan such as Southstar (for those who don't know, Tiger was born in EagleClan but moved to OakClan at a young age; he and South were kin and stayed in touch at gatherings before South became leader, and as a result of Tiger being his only kin in another clan, South felt it was safe to reveal his "romps" to Tiger, thus cluing Tiger into South's promiscuous ways), Honey, Thunder, and possibly other cats. Basically Tigerblaze combined his info from other cats (perhaps he talked to some OakClan she-cats at gatherings who'd had South's kits) together with what he already knew about Southstar from a young age, as well as him witnessing Honey begging South to take one of their kits to EagleClan, and gleaned that quite a large number of the kits in EagleClan were South's. Tiger would've talked to South in secret at one point, making up a lie that Robinwind had received a prophecy about either EagleClan or both the clans being overrun by the blood of one tom, and/or that the reason cats were being killed off by Huntress's group of dark-dwelling rogues (which is where Thunder went, who Tiger was also in contact with, although we never got around to that during the rp) was meant to be a punishment from StarClan. Tiger twisted all of these lies together to try and trick South into thinking this fake prophecy was about him and basically forcing him to confess. This worked, and after South revealed to Tiger which kits were his, Tiger took this information to Streamspot, who probably didn't believe him, and Thunder, who is very angry to learn that his father, a powerful clan leader, was so careless as to let him fall into the paws of a hungry, miserable rogue group after his mother perished at the very paws of that same group (I imagine he would've found out how Honey died somehow), meanwhile his littermates and the rest of his father's kits are living safe and comfortably in the clans. Tiger then tells Thunder when and where the next clan gathering will be, and sure enough, that night, Thunder interrupts the gathering to reveal the truth about his father. He reveals the names of all of Southstar's kits and mates, as told him by Tigerblaze, before angrily confronting Southstar himself. South is shocked and horrified but has no choice but to admit that all of this is true, and, utterly ashamed, steps down from being leader. Pawprints, this is where I need your help! Depending on Streamspot's reaction, Southstar (now Southwind after stepping down) may have either simply lived in EagleClan as a warrior, or have left the clans entirely. Or, if Streamspot is angry enough, would she have exiled him? His relationship with Honey is technically the only one against the code, but at the same time he's caused a lot of damage, to the she-cats he's impregnated and left without a mate to help them raise their kits, to the kits he's left without a father, and to EagleClan's gene pool as a whole. I'm curious if and how Streamspot would punish him after this and if she could eventually find it in her heart to forgive him.

As for Tigerblaze, he constructed all of this in a last, desperate attempt to become leader, this time not of OakClan, but of EagleClan, his birth-clan. He predicted that Southstar would no longer lead EagleClan after the scandal, and his hope was that since he was the one who revealed the truth to Streamspot, she would accept him into EagleClan and make him deputy. I hiiighly doubt Streamspot would've done this, but I'm curious what her reaction would be if Tiger proposed this idea to her. Either way, I don't see Tigerblaze living to a terribly old age, so he would be long gone after the 45 moon skip.

Now, for everyone else...

Sunflare: 85 moons, senior warrior. He had another litter with Creamflower not long after their first kits were apprenticed. @Animals, four kits sounds good to me! They would probably be about 47 moons old by now. Would anyone be interested in taking one? If they don't all get taken we could always say a couple passed along the way.

Riverstripe: 82 moons, senior warrior. @CJ, I definitely think Riverstripe would've gotten over Beestar and realized his feelings for Elmshade. Though he still cares quite a lot for Bee, he would be much closer to Elm by now, and I imagine has been happily mated to her for moons. And yes, they totally had kits ;) He's still close with his former apprentice, Weaselstripe.

Splashfeather: 64 moons, senior warrior. She always had a thing for Jackdawstrike, although it probably took her a while to accept it. She probably felt guilty for a long time because she knew he and Ivyleaf always liked each other and felt bad that she had everything her medicine cat friend couldn't. I like to think she became mates with Jackdawstrike after Ivyleaf went missing, as she would've been deeply upset by the disappearance of her friend and leaned on Jackdaw a lot more during this time.

Dustpaw(petal): 51 moons, warrior. Though she's not quite as shy as she used to be, she's still rather reserved and tends to keep to herself. @Stormy, if I recall correctly Falconpaw had kind of a thing for her when they were younger, do you think he would've ever pursued her once they became warriors? I can't imagine her ever going after a tom on her own, but it's possibly she would've eventually warmed up to one if they courted her long enough.

Littleflower: 88 moons, senior warrior. Despite her old age, she's still as bubbly and energetic as ever. Or, at least, her personality is, even if she's physically a bit slower than she once was. @Cas, I definitely see her and Swiftbadger having had a couple little ones of their own! Similarly to Splashfeather, I think Littleflower may have felt a little guilty at first because she knew Mistflower had feelings for Swiftbadger, but would've eventually worked it out.

Nightwish: 67 moons, senior warrior. She only ever had eyes for Daydream, but when he started to act as a foster father to Foxcloud's kits, she grew jealous and angry and probably tried to distance herself some from him, even after he explained to her that the kits weren't his. Even so, the whole situation made her uncomfortable and she was never entirely sure if he was telling the truth...that is until all of Southstar's secret affairs and kits were made known at a gathering. Needless to say, Nightwish was shocked to find out that not only were so many of her clanmates Southstar's offspring, but that she also was in fact one of them...which meant that this whole time, Daydream had been acting as a father to her half-siblings. While she was relieved to finally know for sure that he wasn't their father, she was admittedly quite disgusted at this too. I imagine she eventually started to trust and grow closer to Daydream again after this, although she was still never comfortable with how close the medicine cat was with Foxcloud and would've voiced this discomfort to him. She would've always had a strong dislike for Foxcloud as well as Southstar following the scandal, and blamed them both for causing so much pain and suffering and ruining relationships. As for what happened with her and Daydream, @Tainted that depends on what direction you'd like to take Daydream c: If he ever did end up having a forbidden romance with Foxcloud, I don't think Nightwish would ever forgive or let him in again. She would probably shut herself off similar to how Deertail did. I also imagine that during the time Day helped to raise Fox's kits Night might've grown closer to Blazefrost and/or Deertail as friends. She never would've had a romantic interest in either of them but probably tried to and spend time and surround herself with other cats who were...well, miserable like her lol.

Darkclaw: 61 moons, senior warrior. He's come to terms with a lot of his issues during his youth and although he can still be a bit prickly at times, he's not quite as somber as he once was. @Cas, You know as well as I do that Quiverheart was my one and only plan for Darkclaw ;) I know she played a big role in helping him to move forward from his past and establish healthy relationships and attachments with others. If Deertail really is dead, though, I imagine this would have put a severe damper on Darkclaw's improvements, and may have caused him to relapse slightly into his old brooding ways. He probably wouldn't ever be able to fully make peace with Deertail's death, or the suffering that Foxcloud caused his former mentor. He'll feel that a lot went unresolved, and will most likely always struggle to come to terms with how everything played out. But being with Quiverheart will definitely help to ease that pain. I think when the prophecy played out he also would have been fairly close with Jackdawflight, and still respects the OakClan tom a lot, but they may have grown apart over the moons. And speaking of prophecy cats, although Darkclaw leaned on Goldenrose a lot in his youth and sought her company whenever he was feeling lonely, he unfortunately never felt the same way she did about him, and probably tried to distance himself from her once he realized her feelings so that she could get over him.

Eveningpaw(fall): 51 moons old, warrior. Things started out a bit awkward and tense when Eveningpaw was apprenticed to the tom who, he thought, should have been her father. She had pieced together what had transpired between her mother and mentor, and was afraid he'd hate her. He wasn't great at hiding the pain in his eyes whenever he looked at her. But the tension started to ease as the moons went by, and it probably came as a shock to both Eveningpaw and Deertail how well they got along when they put their uncomfortable background behind them--or tried to, anyway. By the time Eveningfall became a warrior, she was sure of it--she was in love with Deertail, but she could never tell him. How could she? She knew he cared for her, he was protective of her, but surely he didn't think of her the same way she did him. After all, in his eyes, she should have been his kit. He had been in love with her mother, and she was the result of how that love had failed. He could never love her back. She kept her true feelings hidden for moons, determined to squash them, to silence them, for she knew nothing could come of it. And even if it could, wouldn't it--they--be looked down upon? She finally cracked one day and told Foxcloud, and I can only imagine how her mother would've reacted, @Stormy. But somewhere down the line, be it from encouragement from her mother or a sign from StarClan, she finally mustered the courage to tell Deertail how she felt. And against all odds, the stars aligned. Although she had started out as Deertail's worst nightmare come true--the lovechild of his mate and another tom--somewhere, somehow, something worked out. The moment Deertail confessed to reciprocating Eveningfall's feelings, she felt a huge weight off her shoulders, and everything suddenly became clear to her. Although she could never find it in her to be mad at her mother for what she did, Eveningfall still had always believed that she was a mistake, the result of a wrong that could never be made right. But now she knew her place, and she knew that what had happened was no mistake. She and Deertail became mates and eventually had a litter of kits. She most likely hasn't coped well with her mate's death, or her mother's for that matter, for various reasons.

Emberkit(cloud): 47 moons, warrior. He's lived a fairly normal warrior life, and is a pretty family-centric tom, always looking out for his littermates. He's well aware his sister Willow is unhappy with her position as medicine cat, and I think it's possible he offered to switch with her if she wanted to, although he knows it's not as easy as that. Still, he tries to be there for his kin whenever he can be and help them in whatever way he can. He's never been particularly interested in having a mate or kits, however...@Pawprints, we discussed a while ago potentially involving Bearsong in a forbidden romance of sorts. Was that still a plan of yours, and if so would you want her to have something with Embercloud? Or do you think she wouldn't be interested? He's not quite as adventurous as she is, so he may not be her type, but then again, opposites attract...

Thunder: Thunder didn't live a great life. He spent his younger moons living under Huntress, the brutal she-cat who led the group of dark-dwelling rogues, until he was made aware by Tigerblaze of where he came from and who his father was. Full of anger and promised by Tigerblaze that if he told the truth at the next clan gathering, he would be welcomed into one of the clans, Thunder agreed. But amidst the chaos and the shame surrounding Southstar and his kin, he quickly realized the clans were not the place for him, nor would anyone want him in one. Unresolved, he left the territories, never to be seen again, and most likely died alone.

OH Boy, so much drama with Southstar :OO

But yay for Elmshade and Riverstripe! I think it probably would have taken them a while to get together, so maybe they had kits kind of later, like 25 moons ago? So their kits would be warriors now. for sure, but younger. I'm open to whatever number of kits, depending on who wants to play one.

Yeah I believe Weaselstripe and Riverstripe would still be fairly close and would of loved to potentially been one of the mentors of his kits given it was after Fawnpounce became a warrior already. He would then I assume want to be friends with Elmshade too @CJ, since he'd love to still spend time with the kits and be a little bit like an uncle to them.

For Dustpetal and Falconwing, yes he did have a crush on her when they were younger so I could imagine they would of still been friends of course during their apprenticeship. Of course with them I'm sure they would be shy and maybe both be around the bush a little bit about their feelings to one another. Of course maybe he finally does say something to be finally open about it by the time they are 26 and 28 moons old and offically mates maybe by 30 and 32 moons. Then eventually having maybe a litter not long after that time?

When Eveningfall tells Foxcloud about her feelings for Deertail she just feels awkward and nearly avoids her without saying a word for awhile to try to figure out what she wants to say to them. Part of her always has loved Deertail even when they stopped being mates but did want what was best for them both and did come around after a moon or so to the idea of it but she wasn't happy still. She mostly wasn't happy because of their age difference for the most part and the fact it was her kit with her former mate but she wanted to be able to make some sort of peace with Deertail so she agreed.

As far as Stagleap, I would hope she wouldn't be included though since her and Messfur were the ones that raised her litter of kits with Southstar and they were all happy family. But had it came out I could imagine there would of been some fun times for that family but Mudshadow probably wasn't too thrilled and probably hates Southstar but also was upset at Messfur and Stagleap.

For sure interested in how it would worked out between Tigerblaze and Mistflower had he then came back to Eagleclan. I would imagine she would have had some very not nice words with him at some point and making sure that Streamspot would never let him become deputy since I believe the two of them are friends @Pawprints?

Redflame probably was amazed and confused and angry about the news of being announced that he was one of Southstar's lovechild kits that flooded the entire camp. As well as been not too thrilled over his sisters relationship with Deertail but got over it fine. Possibly this is one of the reasons he has not chosen to find a mate in his clan as he didn't want to become his father at all. But now that time has passed, he wouldn't mind getting a late start of finding somebody whether or not potentially in Eagleclan. He knows what could happen but he doesn't care necessarily about any potential risks as everyone already knows his bloodline.

My characters//

Goldenrose//82 moons//warrior or queen still feisty as ever, was extremely depressed due to the death of wolfpaw (as I assume we are keeping that the same as planned), grew closer to darkclaw (and other prophecy cats) as turn to their duty to protect the clans but never broke out of her depression may or may not have had a litter with southstar (we spoke about it but never confirmed. But she would have made sure southstar knew and probably would have told the casanova he needed to be responsible as they aren’t just her kits. Have to message them for confirmation). She grew to love darkclaw, but star clan knows if she ever acted upon it. Refuses to take an apprentice and refuses to step out of the position of warrior yet. Would probably step down if she had a litter of kits but she’s determined that she’ll pass protecting her clan

Daydream//82 moons// still a medicine cat. Loves Foxclouds first litter as if they were his own. He did step back from everything majorly as southstar had asked but his adoration for them never stopped and he was always there when needed. Would have admitted to nightwish (his forever crush 😻unless we act upon it) that the kits weren’t his but wanted them to grow with 2 loving parents. Knew foxclouds advances and would have spoken to her and possibly made it clear where his duties were. He would have thanked her for letting him play a part in caring for her first litter. (Would also like to discuss this with @stormy and @Cradily to determine his path between the two because I would assume he would’ve gained a small crush on Foxcloud as well.) Took willowpaw as his apprentice and knows they are unhappy over the position. Is debating on whether or not to tell them how unhappy he is in this position but it never stopped him from practicing his previous warrior training as he’d rather not be helpless. Is feeling they’re about ready to be given a full name

Brightpaw(pebble)// 51 moons// a very loving and sweet she cat. Now a warrior would be searching for her other half. She is still awestruck from the prophecy cats. Known to be determined and would be caught practicing if she’s not out on a hunting party or patrol. Thankful that daydream took part in raising them. If it came out that southstar was their father she’d be angry at her mother and biological father for keeping this from them would have to forgive her mother before her death though

Goldenrose// she definitely appreciated that Southstar agreed to at least help with the kits and was happy when he did. She had a litter of four (I will definitely play one of them ) she was surprised as every other cat to know that the tom had litters not with just her. She wasn't upset but more of stunned. She sympathized with the kits that her brother helped raise as well as the other kits. She admires and respects darkclaws relationship

Daydream// he would be shocked that so many of his clanmates would be kin to southstar. He'd work on getting nightwish to trust him again and hopefully he'd be able to make something of it. He did grieve for Fox when she passed as he grew to appreciate her as a mother and close friend. He did admit his feelings to her over nightwish. He was never happy that fox never told him the truth of her kits father. He does now confide in nightwish on how he's upset how no cat could trust him with that secret and that no matter what it would never be those kits fault. He does respect Fox's kits and loves them as if they were his own. If Southstar(wind) were still with the clan he might be the one to confront him on why he told him to push away from kits that were the now previous leaders.

Well I had a feeling that Southstar would have karma bite him back one day since truth be told if you tell a lie it's always going to come back to bite you. I'll have to finish reading the rest of the posts tomorrow since its almost 11:30 PM where I live and I need sleep!
