I was planning to go with more popular characters as NPCs. Sunback for replacement of Isabelle, for example. Arguabley customs or store pets would be more likely to be NPCs via the logic their typically more unique than your standard villager, even villagers of a similar species. Of course I'm not including customs, unless the owner permits and WANTS the animal crossingfication of their pet(s), but Store pets have extra lv of uniqueness NPCs would have, same for unreleased and your average even pet.

Agreed, that's amazing artwork, and if they had a raven wings backpack accessory in the game, I feel that would be one of his default clothing. He personally looks like he'd be a Smug personality character if he was a villager

Edit: If I had the money, I'd totally commission an Animal Crossing style Brightheart. She's one of the sitting cats from the Warrior Cats series

i was NOT expecting isabelle to do fang and azalea so dirty this morning. she literally was like "today we celebrate the birthday of riley.... and many other residents! happy birthday!"
i almost choked. that was so low isabelle. i think they got me back tho. azalea informed be she shares a birthday with fang and neither one acknowledged my birthday at all. overall, it was interesting to see how the game handles more than two birthdays on the same day!

Today I saw a villager (Whitney!) chasing a snowflake! 😭 She was so cute! I hadn't seen them do that before.

A question! Does anyone have sensory issues with hitting rocks? The combination of the sound and vibration feedback just kinda make me 😬. Some days I can handle it, with or without the volume off, a lot of the time I avoid hitting rocks at all. When I have good money luck and don't feel up to hitting, I ask my roomie if they mind hitting them for me on both the main and Kapp'n islands. I dunno, I haven't heard of anyone else having problems with it, though?

I reeeaaaalllyyy dislike the sound of hitting rocks, it's one of those sounds that just feels icky and makes my head hurt. I'm usually listening to or watching something while I play ac though so I don't have much of an issue with it. It looks like you can turn vibration off so if the vibration alone is a big bother that might help!

Well, I've done it. After 2 years, I've finally found all of the fossils for the museum. I was literally only missing the Megacerops Tail for the past year almost.
In other news, I've been trying to get the Festive Tree DIY from my villagers for the past almost two weeks and still no one has given it to me. ;n; I'm gonna be sad if I don't get it by Saturday.
And lastly, found what's probably my weirdest DIY in a while. It's literally just called "Nice Branch." For a while I thought it might have been a wand, but then I made it and...you just shake it when you press the button to use it. It's cute though, I don't know why but it makes me happy when my little villager waves it around. c':

Well, that was disappointing. I thought Cyrus would be able to customize my Pipe, but nope. I've seen pipes in Mario games that aren't green. I was really disappointed I couldn't change it to a red pipe or a black pipe. I've only seen the black pipe in Bowser's Inside Story, so I wasn't expecting black, but I thought they'd have at least red and yellow as options
