Yes DSLite hase a Gameboy slot, and no, pikachu isn't a starter. the starters are Treeko, Mudkip, and Torchick.

Well, you COULD trade with FR/LG. They have Pikachu (available in Viridian Forest), and you can always trade between the two. c:

I used to have it. I'm not sure, but I personally think the game is a stupid game. I could barely get passed the first gym!!!
