The Not-So-Deserted Fairground (Open & Accepting!)

(sorry I'm not gunna worry to much on grammar, punctuation, and capitalization on this one. in a bit of a rush. Christmas shopping ya know? I hope none of you mind it. I know some of you get mad over grammar. promise i only do this when I don't have much time to write. plz don't be mad.)

he nodded "yeah..." he said deniably. Then had a small nod to Anwin. "yeah. one of my favorite things about my name." he was quite listening to Anwin talk about the name. it was a good name. "did he pass away?" he asked. its like all the aggression in his words just left. Suddenly he didn't seem so Gruff anymore. As tough and mean as Taurus likes to appear, he was a real soft gentle and caring guy.

he sighed to Oliver. "oh shut up!" not in a mean way. in a more. yeah.. but I'm not going to believe your right. way. Don't ever do it again... but I kinda like it when you do it. but I don't want to admit it so I wont. kind of attitude coming from the tone of his words. he rolled his eyes and shook his head opening the case file and grabbing the pen. "whatever..." like a teenage boy in denial. He can be childish at times. its not a bad thing. People would always tell him how childish he was. Yes he can be at times. but he knows when to be professional and that is with work. he takes his work most seriously. But when he was with friends he didn't have to be. he considered Oliver as one of his friends.

he turned slowly in his chair giving malum the most discussed look you could think of. Being a man like Taurus. fancy suits and matching tie and handkerchief. He was just in his officer suit but he always wore a blue, black or gold tie to match the uniform. whatever she was wearing was an insult to fashion. "wut on earth are you wearing." lol completely offended by this rando who wore something that doesn't match AT ALL. Its not his fault that he thinks this way. his step mother Scarlett had him grow up thinking that way. This was why Taurus would always wear a suit. His step mother would criticize him if he ever wore anything different, if his tie was the wrong color, if his handkerchief was not folded properly, or his vest isn't tucked in properly, His socks don't match. So he grew up thinking that was the only way to be accepted.

"This way!" he said turning left and leading the way to the Juice bar... its the only place Taurus goes to work on papers "hey maybe we can grab a drink to go when we stop by" he suggested. Oliver made the best smoothies. "Taurus really likes Oliver. Sometimes after work and stuff he will tell me all about him. They are good friends. I like Oliver too. he is good for Taurus. That's why Taurus is always there. He is a sweet guy and is kind to my brother... I really appreciate it about him... you know Oliver a bit? other than the Juice bar guy?" he explained to Anni just because it feel like a good time to explain why he would be there. he finished off with a small laugh. As they were on the way to the Juice bar Thunder noticed The gate. it was closed? that was odd. usually the gates are open. "huh... odd. are we on lock down or something? The gates are normally opened right?" he asked if Anni knew more. Thunder spend most of his time either at home or the flower shop. he was never the type to walk around Fairgrounds much. Mostly because Taurus did that. any time they needed anything Taurus got it.

She nodded to Ezra. "yeah.. in fact he was one of the first to go missing. remember that search team that went missing? a whole search team? and everyone thought that we were being terrorized by... whoever I don't remember... Yeah... they were looking for my brother." she explained. now she was a very quite. she just sat by the cat and enjoyed its existence. "hey don?... Where are you from? if your not human... what brought you here? I thought it was only humans looking for this place." she asked curiously. that was actually a good question. for once. Valid. "oh... yeah those guys are definitely real. 100%" she added to Don.

The white toed black wolf flicked their pure black tail. The ears went back as Robin spoke to them, but not out of anger. In fact, their tail wagged and they seemed to nod. They then followed their crush, leading the humans. They didn't mind salads so much. They just didn't eat them religiously, considering they weren't a rabbit.

The redhead with the nose and cheek freckles hummed a bit. The lighter tanned and turquoise eyed one smiled. She smiled as she said "Oh yeah, I know him. He's the juice bar guy right?" she asked, then Thunder said he was in fact. "Well, ill be rooting for them. Wait, does he just like him as a friend, or... something more?" she asked. She too looked over to the gates. "Um...yes, those gates are definitely supposed to be open..." she said.

The shorter and slender tanned one, with lighter vitiligo, hummed. The green and brown sectoral eyed one looked over. The dark brown straight haired one looked to Alex, saying "Seven or eight...maybe? I wasn't exactly focused on counting people; I was focused on seeing the place. A show you say?" they asked. "That actually sounds like a lot of fun."

They nodded to Hotaru, saying "Nice to meet you, Hotaru."
They smiled as they accepted the bottle back, saying "Thank you." They then reattached the thingamajig, and pressed the button. It filled with water then stopped. They lowered it so Henry could drink from it, and smiled. They said "Well, that's nice, and Henry likes making friends." They shook their head at the strange demon...

They quickly ignored her to turn back to Taurus as he spoke. They nodded sadly as they said "He died awhile ago...Henry hadn't been trained for me yet, back then. Mom called the people to get him and train him a couple months later. And I named him Henry for my grandpa," they said. "He's ten or eleven this year. He probably won't have more than a year or two...Henry is my good ol boy, though, and I love him even though I know he'll be gone soon."

The average height creamy skinned Canadian hummed. The blonde and blue eyed, partially blind male nodded. He said "I think I will go for a pastry or two." He went to the pastry place, getting two and paying (which is probably needed). He then hurried back to the others. He listened as Caspar questioned about having to pay.

Donatello could feel his resolve cracking, pictured the solid recesses of his current state start to either and give way. It wa a merely a sign that it was slipping into control. You think too much. Let me handle this. You know we can take care of us, Dee.

Flicking his Amber gaze to Ember, he quietly pieced together what Ezra had said with what Ember was saying now. Needless to say the conclusions he was coming up with was enough to make his whole body tense with unease. “Prove it” he dared suddenly, his eyes flicking back to Erza as his tongue flicked briefly over his bottom lip. Fear would’ve been what he was expected to experience and that would probably come sooner or later. Don however might’ve found something new and intriguing and that sent a rush of adrenaline through his veins.

With his fascination set on Ezra and his bring a real vampire or not, Don kinda forgot he had even requested a map.

They took a sharp breath in and whisper some weird vampire thing, a large cloud of grey smoke appeared and instead of Grey stabdibg there it was, a large brown bat in his place. The bats wings flapped for a quick moment before morphing back into Greyson. “Are you happy now, Donny?” He snickered with an obviously proud smile on his dumb face. He took a few sips of tea. Shapeshifting was exhausting.

Donatello was a man of science and medicine. But he was still a man, a human. Nothing more, nothing less. Humans typically fear the unknown even when diving straight into it. Hell being someone who hungered for knowledge, he knew that better than anyone.But this knowledge was…terrifying, fascinating, overwhelming all at once.

As a response to the overwhelming emotions bubbling up inside Don, the alter inside of him took the chance to gain control. It wasn’t a subtle change. For a moment it looked like Don was going to pass out. He dropped the cup heavily on the counter and his balance swayed uneasily, his eyes closing for a moment. ”My, my, what a ghastly surprise” the Doctor spoke as they composed themself and opened their amber eyes to look at Greyson with a sort of predatory admiration. “I don’t think Dee was looking when you did the thing. Show us again Mr. Grey” they said, their voice different than Dons. While Dons was more aloof and annoyed, the Doctors held more of a flirtatious tone.

The change in the individual known as Donatello was obvious. While Dons posture was stiff and his shoulders tense, the Doctor was visibly relaxed and at ease. Their challenging amber gaze was so intensely focused on Grey, as if no one else existed at this current moment. For that was true in a sense, the Doctor didn’t care for anyone except the one that made Donatello feel afraid.

Ignifera was in bad mood, he was out to hunt something for dinner, but unfortunetly he was unseccesful. Due to humans cutting trees and slimming down the area he could hunt on he was more often destined to fail, deers were almost impossible to spot lately, leaving mainly forest critters and few escapee domesticated rabbits as a pray. The problem was that he was very unused to buying food, hunting was engaging and could be fun... But with his current chances to catch something more than mice or rats it inevitable to go out to meet other residents of the fairground.

2 weeks ago when he was still searching for a new nest place, he accidentaly stumbled upon the Fairgrounds, but Ignifera didn't enter that place yet, his instincts telling him to check the place first and in the end he decided to stay here from the lack of better options.

Now that he returned from todays unsuccesful hunt, the entry was blocked by a closed gate... It wasn't a problem since the owl could easly fly over it.

Glancing up when they noticed the new arrival in the Juice Bar, Olivier raised an eyebrow. It was very clear that the new arrival - Malum, as she'd introduced herself as - was a demon, and new around here.
"Well, Malum, my name is Olivier, welcome to the Fairground. As for the humans, they are just visitors here, we don't normally have any around here. I'm sure they would appreciate it if you didn't do anything bad to them." he introduced himself, and welcomed the demon. He was a little confused as to how she didn't know it was a Fairground, but that was the least of his concerns right now - he didn't want to see anyone get hurt. Unless someone was protecting him.
"Would you like a drink? I traveled the world to find the best juices and work on my skills." Olivier then offered.

"It's true though~" Olivier replied, lightly teasing Taurus, and laughed warmly as he grabbed a pen to do some of the paperwork. He decided to let him be over that, though, and did set to work on Taurus' refill. As he was making it, though, he suddenly felt a shiver run down his spine, and a jolting feeling that something was off. Distracted by this feeling, he almost dropped the shaker - though caught it just in time, so nothing spilled out. Uneasily, he finished making the drink and set it across from Taurus. "Here you go!" Olivier said, with an uneasy smile, as though trying to remain positive despite the odd feeling he'd had.

Robin quite happily began putting together their own salad, making some polite conversation with the owner of the stall, briefly introducing the two humans. They made a mental note to take Ami over to the barbecue later as well, to get them something to eat as well. They weren't particularly find of it, but obviously didn't mind it - they had their own preferences and so did everyone else, of course.

Glancing at Caspar once they noticed he was done, Robin pulled out some of their own money. "I'll pay for you this time, don't worry about it." they said, and paid the salad bar owner, then started to move away from it, to make some space for another customer. "Things aren't too expensive here, and it helps if you get to know some of the owners of these places well." they explained. "Now I think I should get Ami something... if they're hungry?" Robin looked down at the wolf, to see their reaction.

Ezra didn't say anything, finding the guesses Donatello made quite amusing. It was clear to him that Don seemed even less convinced than he'd initially been. He didn't make any input into that conversation, pretty sure that the truth would be revealed soon enough.
Glancing at Ember when she spoke about her brother, he shrugged a little. "Well, they've got to be somewhere. I don't believe that people just disappear into thin air."he said, bluntly. Perhaps it was a little harsh, but it was true - and he half-hoped that it would give Ember some hope to find her brother. Not that he cared that much.

He turned towards Grey again just in time to see him transform into a bat, and then back again. Ezra paused. His eye twitched a couple of times. He took a deep breath. "What a fun illusion." he said, airily, and downed the rest of the espresso. He was not reaching the breaking point, he was trying very hard to avoid that. And then, there was Donatello... but something was very different about him. Not Donatello? Someone else? Ezra looked quizzically at him. The voice and poise was very different. Honestly, it was quite interesting to see.

He forced a quick smile to the owner of the stall as Robin introduced him and Liem. He was still unsure of what to do, as he didn't really know anything about fairground etiquette.
As the siren pulled out some money, he immediately realised what they were going to do. His eyes widened and he opened his mouth to stop them from paying for him, but it was already late: they were letting the other customer move forward. He put the hand that wasn't carrying his salad to his head, trying to compose himself. "That really wasn't necessary."
There were few things he hated more than other people paying for him. Not only does he feel humiliated, defeated and in debt to someone else, this person who he barely even knows now thinks he goes around asking for free stuff. In reality, he could easily afford this. He had enough money to buy most if not everything on these fairgrounds, not that he would. "I'll pay you back right now. What do you prefer? Cash? Deposit? Maybe a check? Or I can pay for your dog's food, if you want."

Lucy's braids flowed behind while fluttering with the least amount of effort needed across the fairgrounds. Ignoring the whispers of a patch of clovers to her side, she continued on looking for anything to get into. The fairy wondered why Ignifera, a newer supernatural arrival, had just flown over the gate, is the gate.. closed?. Lucy had not yet spoken to the eagle-owl that had just recently arrived to the fairground within the past month. She was intrigued by his natural spirit, but despised the thought of having to get to know someone to be friends. Getting towards the edge of the grounds, she runs into the eagle-owl spirit. I guess it's time I make a new friend here.. Fluttering closer, a raspy voice booms from her petite figure.Ignifera, Right? she says to him, hoping her quiet approach and loud voice wouldn't frighten him. I'm not sure I've made a proper introduction, I'm Lucy. Sapphire and I haven't gotten the chance to check out your herbal shop yet.
