i was gonna say there's a dog from christmas 2017 that looked just like the pup you showed, but some details are missing... so i don't think that's it

but either way it just looks so different from it i'm leaning on it not being the case, and more that it's an entirely original pet? i'm thinking this also because it doesn't have the "christmas '21" tag on it, and looking through the archive a pet in that situation was the christmas hat 2010 lion for instance, which i don't believe was based off of anything either? despite there being other gupps pets in the mix. correct me if i'm wrong though

Yeah, the only other option I've considered is that it got into the release by accident and is actually not a GUPPS; watermark whoopsies do happen, but I honestly am down to combing through the archive manually because my brain can't come up with a pet.

...Which is to say I'm practically hoping it's an accidental release now - both to reassure my brain and because I think it would be really funny :]

I’m a little bothered that there are immediately people hoarding the GUPPS lion. Like, hoards are great! But it honestly seems sad that lots of people missed one while there are people with plenty, it’s reminding me of the PPS lions at Halloween where you could only get them with extreme overpay.

But, on a lighter note, I absolutely adore all of today’s designs! You artists have spoiled us <3

same here, i just want to collect one of every pet from events and i swear it gets harder and harder to complete it with every event that passes.. like..i just want one lion :,)
