Support! I'm a young user, and I always keep the pets because they're saying "I hope my new owner bla bla bla" and it makes me cry.

Then again, I really want the pets I trade for, and it's unfair to me and everyone else to get held back from doing what we want.

Support!
There is like everyone's said a rule you can set up (if "subject" is like "message from your pet" delete message) but honestly can we just remove this mechanic outright? It's excessive, annoying, and guilt trips players for just playing the game. I don't see why it's necessary in the first place

    support
the reason it was put in place was because you used to not be allowed to trade pound pets, but we can now and the message is unnecessary and annoying

I also support this; mostly because since I've been on this site for a longtime my preferences in collecting and "dreamies" have changed over that time. so I would rather trade for those new pet goals and I shouldn't feel guilty for that even as an adult it still is a bit sad to read those messages even though they are in fact not real pets.

I can understand others both the annoyance others are experiencing but also the sole purpose of the pound function put in place.

Huge support, getting those messages always makes me really uncomfortable. I don't want to be guilt tripped for playing the game the way it was designed to be played :/

Personally I think the feature should just be removed entirely, it really doesn't add anything positive to the game, but I would be satisfied with just having the option to turn it off.

Support! They used to make me insanely uncomfortable when I was younger and nowadays it's just incredibly annoying and spams my inbox. I agree it could be deleted entirely or maybe replaced with a popup letting you know you're trying to trade a pound pet away for those who want to know

I support this. I dislike that automated message. Whenever I get that message it makes me want to send the pet back to the pound just to avoid trading them and getting messaged again.

Support! I genuinely don't know why this function is still in place, it can really trigger some people as well.

Support, I joined this site when I was a lot younger as a form of escapeism, and suddenly receiving those messages back then (with no warning whatsoever that I would receive them, or that trading poundies was "bad") was troubling for me when I came to this site for a positive distraction.
Plus the sudden messages for pets I've had for years...I don't have the same attachments as I did when I was younger, and trading pixels for pixels I happen to like more now shouldn't be something I get guilted or spammed for.

It's outdated, and if the original message on the pound page was irrelevant enough to be removed, so should this feature.
