So guys, I was thinking of going out and buying a new Pokemon game, but I don't know what to buy... Suggestions? And no Mystery Dungeon or Rangers, I just want the original games.

Personally, I really enjoy Sapphire. It's old enough not to have all the "stupid new pokemon", but came out for Gameboy color, so it's not a boring grayscale.

@Snowballz is Epic, I agree with Forgotten. However I'd personally get Emerald instead. It has much better frontier for when you complete the game. {I love the battle dome lol}

Also, would anyone join a pokemon rp{Based of the shadow series} if I made one? I need plot ideas and such aswell, allthough I was thinking that the main shadow would be either Zekrom and Reshiram, or Kyogre and Groudon. Also I'd like to have only five people be part of it as I prefer smaller roleplays. Maybe there'd be some sort of group of shadow hunting trainers.

Hmm... Sounds good, but would it work for a DSLite (It has a GameBoy Advance Slot)...? And is there a way I could get a Pikachu as a starter? I want a Raichu as my starting Pokemon.
