Jasper kept sprinting until he saw Lincoln and Nike still exactly where they were before, they seemed to be chatting, he smiled and waved at them with his paw. His father seemed to be surprised and a bit confused at the fact that they had brought food along but waved back nonetheless.

Archie gasps "Ice pops! I love them so much! I'll go get one of those, while I'm there, do you also want something?" he asked, shuffling from side to side in delight.

Shelby waited the 5 seconds and then took off like a lightning bolt, her paws thudding loud on the soft grass. She wasn't yet aiming to catch up to Nesquik, just simply observing how fast he would run to see how much speed she'd have to use to get near him.

Lincoln/Male/Age 7/Straight/Tags: open

With a twitch of his ear, Lincoln raised an eyebrow as he stared at the two young dogs "Nike raises a good point, you two just leave our sight for a while, going to who knows where and then come back with hot dogs the size of Cupid and also a big bag of fries? Who gave you that much food?" he asked, feeling anxious about both of them possibly encountering a stranger and easily trusting them. Jasper nervously looked around, ears folding back to his head "Well... To answer both of you... We got hungry and saw a food stand nearby, we acted cute and the owner of the place gave us the food for free" he replied, hoping it would be enough to convince them that they weren't in any trouble.

Archie nodded, walking over to the kitchen, he propped himself up on the freezer and opened it. After figuring out where they were located he grabbed the package, placing it down and taking out two ice pops before putting the box back inside, closing the freezer. He returned to where Sunset was, holding the ice pops with a smile.

Shelby turned and ran to his left side, she isn't close yet but she's planning to cut him off, with a determined gaze she sped up. Just a little more, that's all she needs to start reaching Nesquik.

Lincoln glanced at Nike, worry evident in his eyes "Do you think we should check the food? See if they didn't put anything in it?" he asked, looking at the hot dogs and bag of fries with a frown while his son whined "But pooooops! It came from a food stand, if it's still around that means the customers are happy with it..." Jasper replied, a pout beginning to appear on his face. His father shook his head "No can do champ, if I wasn't there to see it I don't trust it, especially since it was given to you two for free" he stated, firm in his answer.

Archie smiled back as he unwrapped the frozen treat, it had a red color, it was probably strawberry flavored. He gave it a quick lick, his eyes widened slightly, he looked at the ice pop in surprise before chuckling "Oh wow, that caught me off guard... This one doesn't taste like I thought it would, it seems like... Cherry?" he pondered, licking it again and confirming it, it was indeed cherry flavored.

Shelby took a deep breath and let Nesquik get ahead of her, gathering up energy for when she inevitably had to run at full speed. She also wanted to stay where he didn't see her too well, trying to make him disoriented using that method, switching this time to the right to see what he'll do.

Jasper handed over the bag of fries, convinced of the potential danger, sitting down and waiting for the approval to eat the food. Seeing his father take the fries but ignore the hot dogs made him confused "What about the hot dogs pops? They're suspicious too... In theory" he asked with a tilt of his head as the older dog opened the bag "I know they are, but it's better to take this one step at a time" Lincoln told him, sniffing the fries and eating one to taste test it "Hmmm... Not as salty as most of them tend to be, I don't see anything out of the ordinary but... I wouldn't recommend eating too many of these since they still have salt in them... What do you think Nike?" he declared, turning to her and awaiting her verdict.

Archie continued licking his frozen cherry treat "Orange sounds so good! There's really nothing like a nice, cold ice pop to help refresh us" he said, tail happily wagging from side to side.

Shelby ran a bit faster, she was almost side to side with Nesquik now. If he isn't phased about her turning to any direction he should be at least slightly concerned that she's trying to make the effort to get closer, or so she thinks.

Satisfied with the agreement, Lincoln left the fries aside and looked at the hot dogs "Those actually shouldn't be much of a problem, they're just bread and sausages. Unless they have ketchup or mustard, I don't think we can eat that" he said as Jasper spoke up "Wait! If they do have that stuff we don't need to throw them away, we can just clean it up" he offered, worried that the hot dogs would be discarded. His father thought about it for a moment before conceding "I suppose you're right, do they have any of those sauces on them Cupid?" he asked the young dog softly.

After a while of licking the ice pop, Archie was gonna pull his tongue back to lick it once more but found out he couldn't 'Of course I had to get my tongue stuck on it' he thought, rolling his eyes, waiting until it melted enough so he could be free.
