Alex followed what was all going on in front of her rather slowly. It was harder for the brown-haired girl to keep up and although there weren't that many people, already she was struggling. When yet another person came up to their already growing group, she couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed. Despite that she couldn't help but notice his quirky expression. Oh no. Alex pulled herself together. Just because there happens to be guys here does not mean you can pay attention to them. You're here for riding and riding only. That and mom thought it would be a good idea to get out a bit. Alex couldn't help but roll her eyes at the thought. Her mother thought she was a bit socially challenged. It was a bit true but Alex wouldn't admit it. A few friends were fine but she couldn't go anywhere or do anything that they usually wanted to. She absolutely hated going to parties where she felt out of place and ignored. Movies were okay but when the actors talked facing away from the cameras then she didn't know what was going on. And she didn't want to bug her friends to ask. When the brown haired boy introduced himself as Kyle, Alex almost thought he was actually going to have them shake it. So old fashioned. In her opinion anyways. "Alex." Alex said, introducing herself. Although she thought he might have already been told her name. "This is Black Dancer. Most people just call her Dancer though." Alex said, patting her horse on the neck. Kyle had a dog. A cute little dog. Alex didn't know what kind it was. She was tempted to bend down and pet it but she didn't know how friendly it was. She didn't really want to get bitten by someone's dog on her first day at the barn. Talk about embarrassing.
