Sweetfur looked up for a moment, her blue eyes rested on a wolf a little ways away from her. It was Lucian. She felt horrible for how their hunting trip had ended. It wasn't her fault, however she knew it must of been strange for him to be around so many wolves doing tasks he hadn't been taught yet. Sweetfur walked towards the newly ranked Hunter and offered a small smile. "I am sorry you had to witness today's events."

Risen shifted back and forth on his paws for a moment, embarrassed. "Honestly, I didn't have anything planned - I promised her I would find something new to do but I couldn't think of anything " He knew it would be better to be honest with the Beta in the long run. Last thing he needed was for Darcia to catch wind he wasn't planning their lessons daily. He smiled hearing Roselle say they could join her on a hunt. He turned to look at his apprentice, Kakora. "Good news! We are going hunting with Roselle today." he said proudly to his apprentice hoping she would be as excited as he was.

Avon

Avon poked his head out of the medic den curious as to what the commotion was about. Where was Pelle and what was going on?? As his eyes landed on Alma, talking with Sparrow, his thoughts immediately turned toward her health. He hadn't given her a check up in a while. Due to her crankiness but he decided it was long overdue. Ambling over to them he passed Pelle. Pausing he grunted, "Hi Nyssa, Pelle, I'm giving Alma a check up when I'm finished I've got a lesson planned for you."

Dixie

Dixie's eyes darted around the camp taking into account each wolf. Thank goodness no other wolves got hurt. Red hot anger filled her soul, How dared the Dusk Pack lay a hand on River!! There better be repercussions for this! Dixie's eyes flashed and she spat into the dirt with loathing. She took a deep breath, calming herself. Dixie stood and went to find Bramble, she needed to be doing something and Cecile was in no condition to give orders and Sweetfur didn't need to be bothered.

Waylen

Waylen shook himself out of his stupor grinned sheepishly up at Destiney. "Gotcha!" he said readily, nodding his head. He turned to go but paused, he'd almost forgotten Oak in all the excitement. He blinked at Oak, smiling, "Want to come join? uh errr if that's okay with you." He said nervously turning to Destiney.

Shiloh

Shiloh poked her head outside the Medic den and looked around. Yeah... she shouldn't bring Cecile outside everyone was running around and it was too chaotic. "Ceclie, please just lay over here." Shiloh said quietly. Gesturing toward the opposite corner of the den than River. Shiloh lifted a piece of moss with her mouth and gently dabbed at Ceciles wound.

Sparrow

Sparrow nodded her head feeling more at peace and confident, knowing that none of her packmates were injured. Sparrow's eyes followed Kakoa as she and Risen talked. Her chest filled with pride and she couldn't help smiling. A shadow passed over her and she looked up blinking. It was Avon, he was looking concernedly at Alma. "I haven't checked up on you in a while and it's been long overdue," he said not even paying the slightest attention to Alma's reaction. To Sparrow it looked like he was poking and prodding her belly. She almost laughed, it just looked so comical.

Cecile

Cecile waited patiently to be told where to go. In the mean time she tried licking at the dried blood that had stained her fur a little ways away from the bites. It didn't seem to be budging, great. She'd definitely need a bath later. It was silly thoughts like these that kept her mind off of the pain. Eventually Shiloh asked her to come and lay down "Thank you." She said sincerely as she carefully lowered herself down, grunting as she did so. She watched River regain some consciousness and snap at Autumn. A sigh of relief escaped her, at least she knew for sure now that River was breathing. Cecile tensed as she felt the cold moss on her wounds. Wow, that felt awful but somehow so soothing at the same time. The coldness seemed to take the edge off the sting, just a little bit. But she knew the herbs to come would be the bad part. "Sorry for causing you so much work." She tried to joke, trying to keep the mood light.

Alma

A familiar scent got closer to them, and Alma dreaded looking up. But it was Avon, here to check on her pregnancy no doubt. Perfect... its not that she didn't care about the health of her pups, it was just that she found visiting a medic to be so embarrassing. Before she could have kept herself busy with her work, but now there was no excuse. Did that boy have to watch? Ugh. "Fine. But don't take long..." she grumbled, flopping onto her side so he could examine her properly. She kept stifling growls every time she'd feel a poke or a prod.

Pelle

Pelle had been minding his own business, sat outside with his eyes squeezed shut, trying to memorise all the different herbs and what they looked like. Then chaos had hit and the poor boy had no idea what to do. He'd run back and fourth, not knowing which direction to go. Then everything died down, and he heard a voice behind him. Oh gosh, he remembered all the herbs he'd been taught but he couldn't remember this wolfs name. "I-I uh- H-Hell-o" He began to stutter, but he was saved further embarrassment when Avon passed him and told him that it would be time for a lesson soon. "Yessir" He answered with a nod, hovering behind his mentor but not wanting to get too close to that scary pregnant lady.

Roselle smiles, “that’s fine, I’m sure you can think of something. I could help come up with ideas if needed” she offers. “Hello Kakora” she smiles. Great manners, Risen has taught her well.

Nyssa smiled at the trainee, “I don’t think we’ve met much, I’m Nyssa. Nice to officially meet you” she says with a grin. She nods at Avon, noting the limited time she had to converse with the apprentice.

Freya walked to the prey pile in a menacing manner. She flared at anyone and everyone she passed and growled at anyone who got in her way. She was going to eat, and she was going to eat now! She was extremely grumpy in the morning and even more grumpy on an empty stomach. She growled as one of the other members of the pack dash in front of her. “Watch it!” She snaps.



Bramble

Bramble woke up a little later, feeling a bit more rested. He walked out, noticing how many were awake already. He stretched a little and shook out his fur. He noticed the lead warrior, Dixie, was looking around. “Hey Dixie! Who are you looking for?” He asks with a head tilt.

Kakora bounds over to the two when her mentor gave her the news. The Beta will be with us?! This is awesome! I hopefully can learn more with both of them, the small wolf thought. “Hello, Beta Roselle” she greets the beta with a dip of her head.

Aria blinked soft eyes and got to her paws. My bones are getting weaker with age, she thought as it took her a little bit of effort to get to her paws. She stretched her sore bones and shook her fur out.

Avon sat back on his haunches the check up completed. "They're all in fine condition!" He said beginning to scratch behind his ear. "Though I advise taking it easy you're nearing your due date," he narrowed his eyes at her, "and I heard that you were helping one of the apprentices. I need you to be careful!" he said sternly. Turning to Sparrow he ordered, "Make sure she doesn't do anything to consequently injure herself." Sparrow smiled and answered, "I could try though I doubt I could stop her if she put her mind to it." Avon inwardly sighed that was true. "Oh! and how's Kie's paw?" I had better check that it healed properly. Kie is always getting into trouble! At least Kakoa has some sense not to try to jump over a thorn bush.

Dixie

"You," she replied. Why did he seem so nonchalant?? Didn't he know what had happened? Dixie felt irritated, [i] oh right... he had been on the night patrol. She didn't know how he hadn't woken up with all the commotion or maybe he had. Still dude slept like a rock. "Did you hear the news?" she asked.

Shiloh

Shiloh had wiped most of the blood off the fur and had gotten a better view of the wound. She was glad she sent Destiney out for cobwebs. Hopefully she grabbed some other wolves to help. "Oh your no trouble at all," Shiloh answered Cecile shyly. "If anything," Shiloh smiled, "your helping me with my education. Just," Shiloh winced as she glanced at Cecile's flank, "don't try to further my education anytime soon." Shiloh lifted up a new piece of moss and started to wipe away the blood and dirt. Once the wound was clean she snatched some herbs that stopped infection, from the shelf. Mashing them into a pulp she turned toward Cecile, "Sorry but this is gonna really sting." she said apologetically her face full of concern.

Sparrow

For a second Sparrow was confused when had Kie hurt her paw? Her mind raced over all the injuries Kie had obtained and realization fell over her. Kie and Kakoa had been racing towards camp seeing who was faster and Kakoa had darted around a bush that had been in their path but Kie deciding jumping over it would take faster. she without thinking leaped over the bush. She jumped short and fell into the bush. Thankfully Kakoa was there to get help or Kie would've been stuck their for quite a while. She hadn't got too hurt but one of her paws had landed hard on a upturned thorn, which sunk deep into her paw. But.. her mind spun in confusion, Why would Avon want to look at it?? It had been a week since the fiasco and Sparrow was sure that it had healed. "uhm y-yes," Sparrow stammered more than a little confused. "hmm.." Avon said, "still better check if it's healed quite properally. KIE!!!!" he called.

Kie

Kie looked up from her conversation with Hakon. Crap! Kie thought, She was pretty sure she was the most checked up on, in the whole pack. Avon practically tailed her! He continued to beckon her and she inwardly groaned as she reluctantly ambled forward. "Hi Pelle, Hi Alma, Hi mom!" Maybe if she sounded super happy and content he would leave her alone. "Could I see your paw?" he asked. Kie made an exaggerated sigh trying to show her discomfort. He ignored her and she grumpily lifted her paw. She was so used to check ups that she didn't even question which injury or which possible injury it was.

Not all wolves would be so accepting of delays in learning their ranking. “thank you for understanding. she said softly before flicking her tail. “err - I’m also sorry you had to see some of our border issues - our relationship with Duck Pack is not a simple one.” she replied kind of laughing at the thought of if they and Dusk Pack didn’t have a difficult relationship.

Destiny gave a soft smile towards the two wolves. “that’s perfectly fine - honestly the more help the better. Shiloh needs us to gather moss and cobweb for River and Cecile’s wounds.” she didn’t mind Oak accompanying them, however she had never really spoken with Waylen before, which was fine it happens the pack was so large but she wanted to get to know everyone. he is also kind of cute.. she thought to herself, maybe going for these items wouldn’t be so bad after all. “are ya’ll ready to go? she asked. Before hearing the answer she turned and headed for the camp exit. They had no time to waste.

Oak had been finishing his meal when he saw all the wolves reenter the camp. When he saw his mother carrying in a wolf his size, his stomach fell. Oak had gotten up from where he was having his meal, and looked over at destiny and Waylen, "I uhh- I can't. I have to make sure River and my mother are fine. I'm sorry". With his tail between his legs, Oak crept on over to where the Medic's den was and peered inside. He saw his mother humming to herself as she worked on all the cuts and scratches on the wolves in the den.

Autumn

Autumn hummed to herself as she worked on patching River up. She kept turning her head to make sure Cecile was alright and made sure everything was going smoothly. It was a blessing that the two wolves came back with all their limbs, as Dusk Pack would not hesitate to rip them to shreds. "River.... River" Autumn kept repeating, waiting for a response.

Darcia

The alpha trotted back into camp with a smirk plastered on his face. It was a good day, he loved bothering the other alpha. He went into the middle of camp and started shouting, "Tonight, we celebrate Blaze and Bulk for DEFENDING our territory and making us PROUD!" Bulk let out a celebratory howl.

Bulk grinned as he sat beside his father and listened to the short speech. He chimed in with a howl, proud to be apart of the pack. As Bulk howled, he thought of other ways of destroying Dawn Pack.

Golden saw the wolves come back to camp and watched their movements. She listened in while the alpha spoke and started to howl. Not wanting to feel left out, Golden let out a howl congratulating the victory their pack received.

"Not planning on it." Cecile chuckled through gritted teeth, wondering now whether these bites would scar or not. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they did, scars did tell stories after all, stories of survival and bravery. If anything, River might end up more badly scarred than her, but it would depend on how deep her wounds were. At Shiloh's next words, Cecile braced for impact, knowing what was coming. "I know... please try and do it fast." She was half joking, knowing that tending to wounds could take time and that it was for her own good. Didn't make it hurt any less though.

Alma

Alma had squeezed her eyes shut, trying to block out the world whilst Avon did whatever he was doing. She sat up with relief after he was finished, glad at least that she was developing normally. Rolling her eyes at his lecture, she lay back down to finish off her meal "Yeah yeah, I know. I quit work a few days ago, I ain't stupid...". Part of what he'd said caught her attention though, he'd said they're all, so she was having more than one for sure. Oh lord, she didn't know how she'd cope if it was a litter bigger than two or three, especially on her own. It seemed she had missed some fun though, as Darcia came back with celebratory news. The female howled along with everyone, her howl was quite raspy.

Pelle

Pelle tapped his claws on the ground nervously, struggling to meet Nyssa's eyes. He knew he'd have to get better at interacting with folks if he ever wanted to become a medic. Being social was hard though, he hated the thought of being awkward. "Y-you too... Nice that is- to m-meet you." Get it together Pelle! "Um... Do you know what was g-going on earlier?" But he got part of his answer when Darcia came back and made his announcement. Pelle howled, not wanting to be left out. His howl was surprisingly deep and powerful for his appearance and manner, and it was very beautiful and rythmic.
