Sweetfur growled, hearing Darcia's snide comment. Snapping her head up at Cecile retorting back at him she swished her tail "Silence." she stated commanding her pack to quit egging Dusk Pack on. "Enough blood has been shed. We are leaving." Sweetfur lowered her gaze to her daughter, being tended to by the pack's Lead Medic, Autumn. Her tail wagged gently hearing that RIver would live. "Thank you Autumn" Sweetfur thanked her before helping return her daughter to camp. "Please hang in there River."

River groaned, she could hear voices - but couldn't make them out. The only thing she knew for sure was that she hurt. Everywhere. She tried opening her eyes, pain winced through her body suddenly. Lovely. I'm being dragged. she thought to herself feeling her body move along the dirt. Her head was still spinning. But she was trying to hold on.

Blaze smiled, watching the Dawn wolves retreat. Raising his head proudly he looked towards their new territory lines. One day they would have the entire territory. He looked towards his alpha, then his apprentice and nodded. He knew he would be getting strong words from Darcia once they arrived back at the pack. He turned around slowly to begin their return home to camp. "Good job today kid" he whispered to Bulk. The apprentice was able to get by with hardly a scratch. A great alpha he would make.

Risen backed up as Roselle raised her voice at him. While he was always acting tough he truly hated being yelled at. o-ok. I'm sorry Roselle" he said softly before flicking his ear. He turned to begin walking away when he heard the Beta apologize. He turned back around and offered Roselle a soft smile. "it's okay I shouldn't of pried.. for that I am sorry"

Shiloh

Shiloh had been putting away the chamomile, she had gathered, when she heard the alpha's call. she froze, her eyes growing huge. Autumn dashed out of the den. What should I do! Shiloh thought frantically. Autumn had given no orders. Calm down and THINK!! Shiloh took a breath and gave a resolute nod. If someone was severely injured they'd have to be brought back to the Medic's den. Shiloh shoved the herbs that had been on the floor into a corner and prepared the bed of grass that was kept in the den for wounded wolves.

Waylen

Waylen stiffened as he heard a faint howl. He pricked his ears. Did I imagine it?? It was really faint. Waylen hesitated but then heard another louder howl. It was the alpha!! Calling the... MEDICS!!!!!! Someone was injured! Autumn whipped past him a brown blur. Waylen paused he wasn't very experienced in fighting and might get in the way. A war battled in his mind should he go or stay? He came to a conclusion and no matter how much it tormented him he stayed, if their alpha was there all would be alright.

Sparrow

Sparrow jumped to her feet as she heard a strange howl and saw her alpha dashed out of camp. Her eyes immediately searched out her pups. Her eyes spotted Kie first, still talking with Hakon, completely oblivious, Kie's safe! she thought, but where's Kakoa??!! Sparrow searched frantically.

Cecile

Cecile stopped as her alpha commanded, knowing now their priority was getting River home. With one last glare she turned away from the males that had gathered and followed her own pack. Her hind leg kept sending shooting pains up her spine, and her shoulder hurt like hell. Even if she wanted to, she was in no position to help carry River. Though the girl was alive, Cecile felt like she had failed. Failed in preventing disaster, failed in protecting the border. She did not know what to say, how could she justify this to their alpha? "She asked to see the border, I should never have taken her there. This is my fault..." Cecile recounted once they were far away enough from the others. The side of her body that the bites were on felt really heavy, she secretly hoped that there would be another medic to help her whilst River was being worked on, she didn't fancy losing use of her limbs.

Roselle

Roselle smiles, “we’re even then” she says. “Did you eat yet? If not, do you want to grab something from the prey pile? Or maybe we could go hunting?” She offers, still a bit guilty about yelling at him.



Nyssa

Nyssa launched from her position, running in long strides. When the rabbit lifted it's head, it was too late and Nyssa killed the rabbit in one swift bite. She didn't realize how close to the border she was.



Freya

Freya walked to the prey pile in a menacing manner. She flared at anyone and everyone she passed and growled at anyone who got in her way. She was going to eat, and she was going to eat now! She was extremely grumpy in the morning and even more grumpy on an empty stomach. She growled as one of the other members of the pack dash in front of her. “Watch it!” She snaps.



Bramble

Bramble slept soundly, sleeping in. He was on patrol the night before and came back quite late. He twitched a little in his sleep, seeming to be content. He snored quietly as well.




Lucius

Lucius was just about to reply when he heard a howl. He followed Sweetfur in the direction of the howl. He stood next to his Alpha, hackles raised. He knew he couldn’t be much help, but he was here if they needed him.




Kakora

Kakora shook out her pelt and got to her paws. She looked around, seeing most of the other apprentices were awake already. How long did I sleep?, she wondered in panic. She went out and looked around trying to see if her mentor, Risen, was waiting for her.

SweetFur could hear Cecile's apologies. "It's fine. We can discuss it more later. The alpha replied flatly. She shook her head for a moment in thought as she continued helping Autumn bring River back to camp. "We should almost be there. she said almost out of breath. As she dragged River towards the entrance to camp her eyes landed on Destiny who had come running up. "Take her from Autumn. She instructed as the Huntress quickly helped her continue moving River. She could sense the worry in River's friend. "She will be okay " she mumbled to the wolf. Sweetfur eyed Cecile, who despite her own injury was at this moment worried about River. The Delta was indeed loyal, but she would need to discuss not letting an apprentice dictate their afternoon - Alpha's pup or not. Finally! She thought to herself as the camp entrance was upon them. She used any energy she could muster up left and pulled River towards the medic den - probably quicker than the poor wolf currently assisting her was prepared for.

Destiny heard voices, she had been helping the wolves in the camp frantically figure out exactly what to do, she had already sent some towards the river to collect moss - others to collect cobweb. If she could help Shiloh and Autumn at this time then she would. It wasn't often - if ever. That the Alpha would call for the medic unless something bad had happened. She stiffened - hoping , praying more so that everyone was alright. Snapping out of thought she raced out of the camp, her eyes landed on her alpha, the pack's medic and Cecile who was covered in blood. please let it not be her own blood.. she thought to herself before her frantic eyes landed on her bestfriend. They were dragging her. large gashes were spilling blood around her. Before she could even open her mouth, SweetFur had instructed her to take over pulling River into the camp from Autumn. She quickly replaced the medic, knowing she would probably want that head start into her den. Destiny looked up at Sweetfur - worried. I hope River makes it. I - her thoughts were cut off from the alpha who had somehow read her mind. Nodding she continued to drag River. Before feeling Sweetfur pick up the pace.

Sparrow

Sparrow spotted Kakoa by one of the dens. She relaxed and lay back down next to Alma. She shook her head, she was always too worried over her pups. Practically comes with the job description of a mom, she thought wryly. I wonder who was howling. I don't think it was from our pack. Sparrow hesitated, "Alma? That wasn't one of our wolves was it??" Alma, being a warrior, would know the packs howls better than she would. she concluded. Sparrow was concerned but knew she would find out soon enough when what events had taken place when Darcia returned.

Waylen

Waylen stood by Oak shocked as he watched River being pulled toward the Medic den. He couldn't move. He was too horror struck by the mass of red around River. River! the heir!!! What would they do if she died!?? His thoughts were panicking and were in disarray. Did she get hurt at the border? Was this his fault for not doing patrol??? He dashed away this thought. He was being foolish the southwest border was nowhere near the Dusk Pack! OH he knew this day would come!! The Dusk Pack were shifty cheating wolves who could NEVER be trusted.

Shiloh

Shiloh was busily organizing the wet moss and cobwebs. She'd have to thank Destiny later, she could've never gotten all these supplies in such short time. A loud commotion started outside the den. Shiloh turned to see what was going on. Her eyes landed on Destiney, Autumn, Sweetfur, and Cecile all pulling River toward the medic's den. There was lots of red, Shiloh bit her lip and glanced at the cobwebs she had arranged. Yes, she thought, There would be enough but just incase she would ask someone to go fetch more. Her eyes caught on the red stained fur of Cecile, she dearly hoped it wasn't her own blood!

Cecile

Cecile hung her head in shame at Sweetfur's answer, knowing that a serious talk would have to be had later, once River was more stable. She watched the commotion as the pack greeted them at the entrance of camp, and she cursed herself inwardly when the pain in her hind leg became too much to walk on and she had to raise it. Stifling a whine, she limped over to the medics den alongside poor river. Cecile could wait until River was tended to properly, she was a tough female with better experience with pain, River was just a teenager. A teenager who'd probably never even been bitten before. Cecile glanced at Destiny and nodded at Sweetfur's words of River being ok, wishing the circumstances were different. When they reached the medics den, Cecile nudged Rivers's head gently as she was placed in a bed. "Hang in there kiddo." She whispered, not quite knowing whether she should lay down anywhere or wait outside.

Alma

Things happened in quick succession, the howl, the panic, the rush. Then it was over as quick as it began, Alma hadn't even had time to haul herself up before Sparrow sat back down with her. Something about that howl had sounded so familiar to her, but she couldn't quite place it in her mind. "It wasn't one of ours." She said, of that she was certain.

Shiloh

Shiloh squirmed her way into a corner of the medic den, the den was so stuffed with wolves. How was she and Autumn supposed to work with everyone in here??? She understood they were worried for River but they wouldn't be helping by hovering around. Shiloh glanced at the pile of cobwebs. Yeah they were going to need more. Now that she was closer she realized that the wounds, weren't necessarily huge, but the one's on her face would be patch work. Shiloh opened her mouth to ask Cecile to get someone to get some for her when she realized Cecile's flank had been ripped open. "Destiney!!" Shiloh called, "We need more cobwebs!" Shiloh hesitated, River needed immediate attention but the wound on Cecile's flank.. Shiloh winced. She needed the wolves out of the den but Cecile needed her wounds cleaned up before she accidentally got them infected. Ohhh where was Raunaum! Shiloh turned to Autumn, "I'll quick clean up Cecile outside then come in and help you with River."

The alpha, after escorting her daughter to the medic's den saw the area was cramped. Autumn and Shiloh wouldn't be able to work if there wasn't enough room to move. She dipped her head "I will be outside - let me know if anything is needed." she said softly before exiting the medic's den. Truth was - she couldn't handle seeing River like that. She was upset her own daughter would of done something so stupid. Didn't she train River well enough? Anger rose slightly in Sweetfur. If she hadn't let River take a break from her training this never would of happened. Sweetfur decided that here on out River would be training, the pack could not risk this happening ever again. Her anger soon melted away into fear, and sadness. She had almost lost River. Sweetfur slunk away into the shadows near her den. She needed to compose herself.

River opened one of her eyes slowly as Autumn was tending to her wounds. She winced feeling the cold water from the moss hit her cuts. She was in so much pain, but she would try to fight it. Glancing over as far as she could see from where she was her eyes landed on Cecile. She felt terrible that she had put the pack Delta in danger. She directly disobeyed her after being told not to make any sudden moves. She saw red staining the wolf's fur and truly hoped her wounds weren't terrible. "OUCH " she mustered up the strength to snap at the medic. She felt bad for snapping, Autumn didn't have to help her But this hurt like a fire raging through her veins.





D E S T I N Y

Destiny exited the Medic's den hearing that they were crowded. Her alpha, Sweetfur had already pushed past her and walked away. Destiny was tempted to try and talk with her, maybe calm her before Shiloh had asked her to gather more moss and cobweb. They would need it - and lots of it. Destiny turned, her green eyes landed on Waylen. He looked - troubled with himself. "Waylen! She called to the warrior. "Can you please help me go to the river and gather moss for Shiloh and Autumn? They need more - a lot more." she barked, more demanding than asking. She needed help carrying all of the moss and cobwebs that she would want to gather back. Having someone go with her would save time later. Besides it wouldn't be completely terrible having someone to accompany her. For safety reasons of course.

Risen smiled , thankful she wasn't mad at him for disturbing her. He glanced over his shoulder to see his apprentice, kakora watching them. "Hunting would be excellent." he replied. "Do you mind if my apprentice, Kakora joins us?" he asked softly. He knew hunting with Roselle - the Beta would be an incredible learning opportunity for both him and his apprentice. Besides - Risen had honestly forgot to plan their training activity for the day, he had promised the apprentice something new besides going over the same 5 scents and battle moves he had already shown her.

Nyssa brought the rabbit back into camp and dropped it into the pile with the rest of the prey. She noticed the medic apprentice, Pelle. “Hello!” She greeted him with a smile. “How are you today?” She asks.

Aria blinked soft eyes and got to her paws. My bones are getting weaker with age, she thought as it took her a little bit of effort to get to her paws. She stretched her sore bones and shook her fur out.
