Yeah me to, I’m excited for his shop to open tomorrow!

New leaf is probably still my favorite just because it focuses more on life sim stuff, but new horizons finally feels like a complete game. So many little touches has really brought the game together (and yeah I LOVE the newspaper to haha. I kind of want to print my first page.)

Oh and on a side note, the DLC is releasing based on where you live, it’s not a world wide instant release like the free DLC. I’m so happy the free DLC is out that I’m not too bothered by that though. 💕

i only recently started playing again, and i've been so busy i'm barely playing, but i just restarted my island cause it had been so long,, and i was always bad at placing houses and getting an "aesthetic feel",, any tips??

Watch a bunch of YouTube videos. That and there is online tools to help plan your terraforming, I never messed with it but I’m sure you can find it with google. Work on getting stuff cataloged and collecting DIYs.

Most importantly, don’t feel like your island has to be perfect, the point is to have fun. My island is far from top tier, but I’m happy with how it’s turning out. I’m just focused on making it into my happy space.

id recomend looking at the nintendostore at 11pm local time, it released early in aus so it might world wide, i got it at 9pm (aus is treated as 1 so that was 11pm in eastern aus)

The US has four timezones so I imagine it’ll either use eastern or pacific time for the whole country. It’ll either release at 11 pm or 2 am for me since I’m central time lol. Really hope they go by ET, otherwise it’s going to be hard to sleep tonight.

Usually game releases go live on eastern time so here’s hoping. :”D

The thing I'm most excited for is the Gyroids. ;u; I spent soooo much time collecting them in New Leaf. My museum room was filled with them! Still not entirely sure how they work, other than the small bit Brewster says when he gives you the Gyroid Fragment. Is that going to be the only way to get them, or can we also dig them up after rain like in New Leaf? Or is it something totally different?

Yeah, I know. Brewster says you bury the fragments, water them, and then they grow into full Gyroids. I'm just wondering if there's other ways to get them.
