Not sure? I mean part of it is that we aren’t getting enough to meet demand. For instance the news I’m following said that target around the US are only getting around 30 packs per store… but yes also scalpers are reeeeeeeeeally bad right now. Anything remotely collectible is getting bought up. For example we have never had an issue with Pokémon cards being sold out but the last year or so stores haven’t been able to keep them in stock very long.

Maybe the stock shortages are making people want to hoard? kind of what happened with toilet paper?

Having a shortage of amiibo isn’t the worst thing ever as far as collectibles go (or anything really, I’d much rather toilet paper over amiibo lol), but still pretty annoying because I would love to own the “official” cards.

yeah, i know my card shop didnt allow pre-orders on pokemon cards because of that reason

in other news,iv been working on my second islands teying to get all the flowers, man i forgot how hard it is to breed hybrids

I was not at all prepared for this oh gosh. I was still in the process of remaking my second island lol.

Edit: Holy cheese, it’s NOT time locked, it’s out a day early!!!
New mystery islands here I come!!!

Re-edit: people are saying the DLC is still locked. But hey? Getting part of it early is still great. :3

Welp, done everything I can for today on my main island. I try not to time travel when it comes to new stuff. :”D

Time to get started on making my new island I guess. Me and my boyfriend decided to make it a shared town. We’re naming it Shishito (it’s a type of pepper). He wanted to name it something curry related (not that I know if they actually use it to make curry but, just curry is boring)

Edit: yeah, you can use it to make a certain dish of curry so yay. It’s both curry related and sounds better then plain curry. Will probably keep the curry ingredient theme going and name my character either Tofu, Carrot, or Enoki ( type of mushroom used in some curry dishes).
