With a few short coughs, she got up, a bit unsteady but alright "Don't worry, I'm fine I think, I guess with every tug of war victory comes an unexpected fall" she chuckled, shaking off any leaves and twigs that got stuck in her fur "How about you though? Your jaw probably hurts after that" she asked, concerned.

He smiled at both of their pups while he observed them "It most likely won't be long before Jasper invites him to have a sleepover, he likes having new buddies meet his friend group, they're all good kids and they're careful but Cupid would be the youngest one there so the fun would have to be toned down to his level" he pondered, glancing at Nike to see what she thought of the idea "I completely agree with you, Tom is like... A cat's name and I'm much more classy than them" Jasper grinned, his tail wagging as he put a paw up to his chest in what he thought was a "classy" way "I see, you're my big tough bud then, you can probably knock me down with just a stare" he giggled.

He also got up "You're not being a burden, I promise. I don't mind taking you home if you want, in fact, I'd love to do it if you let me" he replied, placing his paw over hers in a reassuring manner.

She sighed, staring at him with a guilty look "Sorry about that, I probably shouldn't have tugged that many times at once... Do you want me to go get you a heating pad for that? My owner usually has one on hand in case I need it because of something like this" she offered with a smile.

He nodded, knowing how she felt "Of course, he's still very young after all... It'd probably be best to invite him when he's a bit older... He's quite a beautiful pup, he certainly must have inherited that from you but I'm sure your mate also has good looks too though, his coat is very interesting" he told her, curious about the heart-shaped patterns that Cupid has. Jasper was easily able to handle the small dog on his back, placing a paw on Cupid's own back to steady him when he started to wobble, making sure he doesn't fall "You're the tallest dog ever now! The view is awesome from up there isn't it? You're so light that I could totally do push-ups with you here" he said smugly, stretching his body as much as he could so his little friend could feel like he was higher.

Shelby quickly ran up to her owner and nudged his bag, after he opened it she pointed to the heating pad inside and her human went to heat it up while she patiently waited next to him.

His ears perked up "Really? Well, it seems like we're on the same boat, single parent dogs trying to raise their... Slightly energetic children" he replied, glancing at their kids with a humored but lightly worried look at the stunt that they're doing. Jasper smiled, affectionately patting Cupid's head "It is isn't it? You'll get to see this view too someday! But you gotta make sure to eat well and drink lots of milk, then you'll grow to be big and strong, maybe you can even get taller than me" he said with an encouraging nod before placing his paw on the pup's back again so he can still have a steady balance.

After a minute or two her owner handed her the pad, she took it, making sure it was warm enough and sprinted back to Nesquik, setting it underneath his jaw.

He also chuckled "That's true... They're sweet though, I wouldn't know what to do without Jasper, he brings a lot of light to my life" he said in a soft voice, fondly staring at his son. "That's the way to go! But while you're still small I can walk around with you on my back, you just gotta hold on tight, I don't want you to fall" Jasper smiled, gently nuzzling the pup.

"Alright, the Jasper train is taking off! Next station is the racing track" Jasper spoke in an exaggerated conductor voice, slowly making his way to the track.
