Paranormal experiences?

we have a ghost cat in our house! i've named her mittens :)

constantly we feel cats jumping on the furniture/walking around corners which, y'know, we thought could just be subconscious or like... our corporal cats. but the first time my boyfriend stayed over he told me the next night that he felt like there was a cat on his bed all night. i never told him about mittens...

i love our little ghost :)

in my house we have just a really unsettling energy in our garage, though i wish we had ghost cats instead LOL

I have no idea if it's ghosts or extradimensional beings or all in my head or something else entirely, and I legit don't talk about it almost ever so I have no idea how to properly explain it, but I can more or less kinda tell when there's a consciousness around that we can't see or hear or what have you. That said, my personal "encounters" or w/e are stuff like 'my mom took me near an abandoned house as a sort of test and I burst into tears because something was around and it was very sad' or 'I made an offering to any passing spirits and I felt like something was watching me with what I think was fond amusement' or 'I was driving around to a bunch of the ghost towns around where I live and some are empty, some have something around but it's absolutely ignoring us, and some seem thankful for some reason.' I call whatever they are "ghosties" affectionately, but I don't know if I'm convinced they're literally the spirits of dead people? They're something though and they've never seemed malicious or anything so that's cool.

Anyway, when my mom was 19 she lived in Hamilton house in Winnipeg and didn't notice any paranormal stuff, so that's a fun lil footnote. It had to have an exorcism before she and my aunt were allowed to move in and everything. Not quite a paranormal story, but it feels relevant and interesting X)
