halloween event late?

i wonder why the halloween event is taking so long to come out this year :o like halloween is almost here,,, in other years it was in the first week of october, right?

Got this information from a chicken smoothie discord I moderate for!

"there's no set start date, but these are some of the days its started in the past! it usually starts quite a bit later in the month, and usually on the weekend

2015 - October 23
2016 - October 21
2017 - October 21
2018 - October 20
2019 - October 19
2020 - October 23"

It should hopefully start either tonight's rollover or tomorrow's rollover! :3 it is about that time for the event to start

I don’t think it’s ever been he first week of October as Events usually last a week or two. Since we just got a staff Halloween dress up this rollover on the main page, we should see the start of the event this weekend or close to it
