"Aya pissed me off, so I came out here looking for action. She always has to be better than everyone else...."
Midnight had to strain to hear Natsumi’s law few words. Midnight shrugged, he knew better than to get between a fight with Nastumi and Aya. “You’re not going to find much action here, there’s nothing out.” He looked back at Nastumi curiously. He tilted his head, thinking. Why was she looking at him like that….oh! Midnight almost glanced back towards the tree, but stopped. If what he was thinking was right, that there was something in the tree behind him, he did not want to alert whatever was there. Midnight jerked his head slightly back towards the tree, a question in his eyes. Was there something there? And if so, what? Don’t be an idiot, it’s a Shadow, obviously. What else would just hide in the tree and watch? Midnight bent down, lightly touching the top edge of his boot with three fingers, glancing back up at Natsumi. If there was a Shadow there, he did not want to be caught unaware. There was a pocketknife in his boot, of which he was currently touching the handle of. The movement in itself was a question, did he need to be ready to fight?

~Diaspora~
Diaspora had to stifle a snort at Midnight’s words. Stupid Shadow Catcher didn’t even know she was there. She peeked around the trunk of the tree. Natsumi and Midnight were talking. Diaspora cautiously placed her foot on the next lowest branch, wincing when it made a muffled creaking sound. Even her predatory stalking abilities could not control the noise of the tree. Diaspora crouched down, touching her hands down on either side of the branch in an attempt to balance her weight and muffle the noise of the branch even further. Did the two Catchers know she was here? She couldn’t take that chance. Diaspora continued descending slowly down the tree, with only a few more muffled creaking and quivering leaves. She paused at the base, before touching her feet down to the ground. Diaspora kept her back pressed against the tree, she did not want the two Catchers to know she was here yet. She had to get behind them first

Midnight shrugged at her comment about her cousin. “You’re not going to find much action here, there’s nothing out.”
He's oblivious to the shadow in the tree..... she thought, watching him further.
Something must have clicked because he moved his head slightly towards the tree while questioning with her eyes. Her thoughts were, NO DIP!, but she just blinked in response. She turned, her back to the shadow and Midnight and sighed while acting ignorant.
"But where am I gonna burn off steam then?!" She heard him kneel down. Getting his weapon huh? I hope he's ready....
She closed her eyes and listened for the Shadow. She's going to attack soon.... I can feel it....

General Description: Asphyxia is a small girl, short and slim with a delicate face. She only stands about 4”7’ and is about 95 lbs. She is relatively pale, not liking the sun too much, with bright blue eyes. Her eyes are rather large and framed by dark lashes, often giving her a look of unassuming innocence. Asphyxia is a musician, extremely proud of her thinly boned delicate hands. She will often paint them a blood red colour, sometimes with designs in black ink. She also wearing a ring, a triangle shaped black stone set in iron. The only time Asphyxia will take off this ring is if she is playing the piano, which is the instrument she plays. She wears a ruby on a chain around her neck and has her butterfly tattoo on her lower back.

Personality: Asphyxia can seem warm and caring if she wants to. She is master of “masks” being able to change her expressions and attitude in a minute if needed. But, inside, she is cold and emotionless. She has to be, to deal with what she has become. But, in a way, Asphyxia enjoys it. She enjoys being a Shadow Catcher, to a certain extent. She has quite the malicious nature and will not stand for rebellion. Asphyxia holds a deathly grudge against the Shadows. Asphyxia is definitely a leader, not a follower. She hates being controlled; she must have control of anything at all times. Or prepare for an angry Asphyxia. Which no one wants.
History: Asphyxia grew up in Shadow Hollow to a loving family, but her parents died in a Shadow raid on her house. Asphyxia was not bitten however. She rose to power among the Shadow Catchers, killing all who stood in her way and slowly becoming the ruthless leader she is today. Her grudge against the Shadows stems from the fact that they killed her family, but not her.
