it means people who get caught cheating with multiple accounts etc, lose their pets when I catch them

I don't understand why people feel the need to risk everything to cheat anyhow - so far I've not traded any candy and have managed to get all of the halloween pets that I want - plus a few extras for possible trading or different outcomes - and there's still candy to collect - so why risk it?
