Rexxington “Rex” Repimus

18 years old/August 13th/Male (he, him)/Pansexual, Demisexual with a slight male lean/Cabin 1: Zeus/Pet: Kordia (Munchkin Cat)/Location: Camp Half Blood/Tags: Press/4 beads

Rex walked out of the Zeus cabin and looked around. Everyone was eating breakfast. He scanned the clearing looking for a certain camper. Press. He smiled as he saw the male and walked over. He bumped into someone and as he was walking and saw that it was Ava, someone who despised him. She barked at him and he said giving her a little wave and a lighthearted comment, “Hello to you to sweetheart!” He laughed as she responded in an angry tone. He walked over and said giving him a smile, “Press hi!! And hello to you too Chase!” He pet the dog and pulled the young boy close in a hug and released him from the hug. He titled his head curiously and said, “Scared you? Besides the point, why don’t we get something to eat. We have a busy day ahead of us and you need every bit of strength you can get.”

Ava Fisher

17 years old/July 13th/Female (she, her, they, them)/Pansexual/Cabin 6: Athena/No Pets Currently/Location: Camp Half Blood/Tags: Open/6 beads

Ava walked towards where everyone was eating breakfast and she bumped into Rexxington. She narrowed her eyes and barked at him, “Don’t you know there are other people here you big gorilla.” She heard him call her sweetheart and she replied angrily, “Shut up! I don’t want to here it!” She stalked off and huffed as she walked. God he is so unbelievable. She walked to the place everyone ate and she grabbed a plate of food and sat down at her respected table. She sighed and walked over to create a sacrifice to the gods. She walked back to her table and began to eat hearing the banters and the talking amongst the camp members of Camp Half Blood.

Presley “Press” Weston

14 years old/October 12th/Male (they, them, he, him)/Pansexual/Cabin 11: Hermes (Apollo is Godly Parent)/Chase: German Shepherd, MoonWatcher: Pegasus/Location: Camp Half Blood/Tags: Open/0 beads

Press walked out with his dog, Chase, bouncing by his side. The young male should remember where to eat. As he scanned the camp, he saw the place to eat and smiled. Finally something he could find on his own. As he saw his friend, Rex, bump into his other friend, Ava, he couldn’t help but sigh as she grew angry at him. Couldn’t they get along and become friends so they all good hang out, but sadly that wasn’t the case. As Rex came over to him with a smile plastered on his face, he squeaked as he was pulled into a hug. He was released and said shakily, “Ohh... h..hi Rex. You sc...scared me with that hug.” Press wasn’t the strongest and certainly wasn’t the tallest. He wanted to protest, but knowing the truth, there was no use in protesting it. He nods and says, “Ya we should go do that!”

| Drew Byrne | 16 | He/Him/His | Athena | Location: Dining Pavilion | Tags: Ambrose

Drew raised an eyebrow at him when he mentioned everything going on. “I mean, as okay as I can be… you know, with our lives feeling like they’re constantly in danger.” Everything had been so strange, starting with the mysterious snow and carrying through with an army of the undead… He still wasn’t quite sure what to make of it all, so he’d simply dove into training, and focused on his skills as did Luna. “Neither can I… It’s all a little overwhelming if you ask me… I mean, I know we all have godly parents and nothing should really surprise us but…” At least he was still overwhelmed with supernatural things like Golden Fleeces and the undead. Perhaps Ambrose wasn’t given who his father was? “Either way, Luna and I are usually out there every morning before breakfast… I see better from a distance so I tend to stick to anything long-range. Besides, it gives me practice with night shooting... since the sun isn't usually up yet.” That was a flaw of his. Perhaps he should branch out more just in case?

He brushed it off, and Drew didn’t know if he was serious or if maybe he just didn’t want his help. Either way, Drew couldn’t really blame him. Then there was the mention of Vivienne, and it was enough to make his eyes widen. “Vivienne? Are you sure?” He couldn’t help but ask incredulously. “It seems that way too… is there any way to call them back? If she’s attacked once, I can’t imagine she’ll wait long before she attacks again.” He admitted, voicing the thoughts out loud without allowing for the chance for him to filter through everything first. “Sometimes I really wish my mother wasn’t a Goddess.” To be fair, given everything going on, he felt justified.

| Ophelia Rogers
16 | She/her | Aphrodite | Cabin 10 | Robyn

Ophelia shook her head. Missing things at camp? Nah, I swear that this place just runs in circles, especially without the summer crowd. "Hardly," Wait no, did she mean the last few days and all this ice business? Ugh I hate this. The handshake, while accepted, had not been a great choice. Robyn took it as one might receive a dead fish, hesitant at first, but then quick to get it over with. I suppose that's fair, she mused as she retrieved her cold fingers from Robyn's. She held back a recoil at 'head counselor'. I have no idea what I'm doing and oh my gods am I screwing it up. She stifled that thought with a smile. It felt wrong on her face. She didn't dare flash her teeth in this bitter cold. "I have never appreciated Mira more." Yep, that covers it. But maybe now that she's not here I could talk to Robyn? It's always Mira... She fiddled with her bracelet, running the locket around her wrist and back.

She took in a deep breath, steadying herself. Gods, what if she says no? "Actually, could you, uh, walk with me to breakfast?" She let her wrists fall back to her sides, but it only resulted in her feet rocking under her. "It's okay if you don't, I don't mean to pressure!" Her hands rose to flap at the air around her and she kept her face clean of the painful wince that wanted to rise as well. Sounding board? I think I need to talk to someone, like Caleb? Maybe? Ewww, Caleb! No, forget that, I'm sure there's other people, like Jack? Nope? Does this mean I should actually make friends? Ugh, what kind of dystopia is this?

Richard Sylvester Williams|21|he/him|Hermes|Bisexual|Loc:Outside cabin 7|Tags/mentions:Lucy,open

Sylvester was slightly taken aback by the girl's snippy attitude. "Um I'm sorry for bothering you" He replied feeling confused as to what he could have done to have made her so upset with him. Sure he was used to people being angry at him but that was when he had pranked them or something, not after asking them a question. He didn't let him bother him too much though, he'd been called worse. "At least she's still willing to show me where to go" Sylvester thought. "Thanks that would be great" He responded politely hoping that his "natural charm" would thaw her slightly to his presence. Although he wasn't particularly keen on following her it sounded like they would meet up again anyways. "Don't worry it'll be quick no nonsense" Sylvester chuckled in response to the comment. "At least not for right now" He thought with a small smile, shifting his duffle bag to follow Lucy.

Cassandra Lynn Peters|19|she/her|Hermes|Head Counselor|Demi-bisexual|Loc:Training arena|Tags/Mentions:Liv,open

Cass worked through some fencing drills with one of the training dummies. Cass walked slowly around the dummy as if it was an enemy. Currently, Cass was focusing on her hand and foot position as she didn't have the energy for much else. She jabbed at the dummy a couple of times causing some of the stuffing to fall out. Cass having her full concentration on the dummy didn't realize someone was heading her way until they began yelling at her. Cass stopped what she was doing and let out a sigh "Gods it's too early for this" She muttered under her breath before turning to the camper. "okay A, Bold of you to assume they're gonna listen to me" Cass replied deadpan, although she planned to ask her campers to leave the girl alone. Manly for their safety since she seemed pretty violent. "And B, be glad they only taped it, that's one of the tamer things they've done". After Cass said that she thought about how someone thought it would be funny to put a bunch of spiders and bugs in one of the new campers' bags and shuddered. "Do you need anything else or do you just want to continue ranting" Cass asked with a raised eyebrow swishing her sword slightly as she talked.

Read him?” Aoife scoffed. “Not a chance, but I’ve seen the movie. Didn’t understand a word they said but at least they were both cute. You know, the one with Leonardo DiCaprio and…” she trailed off, eyeing the boy suspiciously. “Maybe you don’t.” She didn’t have a chance to repeat the interrogation Juliet had likely already given in regards to when he was from, her incessant chatter dying down almost immediately. She was dimly aware of Juliet’s voice beside her but she couldn’t muster up the strength to respond, couldn’t tear her gaze away from the boy and the horrors flashing before her eyes.

Then it was over and he was speaking again, but for a long moment she was too stunned to say anything, staying crumpled on the ground with her head down. An apology, that’s what was happening. It wasn’t a very good one. “What the hell was that?” She looked up to glare at him, remembered suddenly that looking at him had been the cause of the issue in the first place and flinched, but kept her gaze steady when nothing happened. “Everybody here is the child of the god of something, doesn’t give you any right to do...whatever the hell that was.” She seemed outwardly to have regained some of her composure, but she was still on the ground, heart rate slowly returning to normal.

A silver flash caught the corner of her eye, and suddenly Juliet was yelling threats at something. “Haven’t there been enough dead guys around here? I mean...the undead ones…” That didn’t work either. There were too many terms to avoid. “Skeletons,” she settled on finally. “Christ.” She staggered clumsily to her feet, dusting snow off her pants and flicking her bracelet into boomerang form as she did.

"Yes, Lotus Casino." A pause while he took in the rest of what she said amongst the throbbed in his head. "Wait, Ambrose is here? For heavens sake when did that happen, I swear I was just keeping him out of trouble the other day... or was it a week ago?" His days, months and even some years were melded together. One of the effects of being at the casino for so long. He knew he'd been there a long time, Ambrose actually helped him stay sane, gave him something other than his own fear to hang onto.

Ambrose definitely had a way to Oliver on his toes. The boy had a very inconvenient way of gambling everything. Though sometimes it was a good thing, he was the one who had won Horace for him. Oliver had kept it closer than all his other weapons for that reason. Ambrose was like a little brother to him. "Son of Phobos, I.. I can manipulate and control fear. I have almost perfected it over the years but when I get scared.. as ironic as it is... My powers tend to have a way of protecting me. I can't control it." He said in explanation to them both.

His way of saying sorry and explaining was cut of by the girls talking about something else. He looked in the direction the girls were and noticed something.. no two somethings making their way up the hill. One was seemingly more lively than the other, literally. These girls may need my help he didn't necessarily feel up to it but he owed them one after attacking them like he did. With a shaky hand he picked up Horace and Hemlock out of the snow. They were freezing but it was ok, he ignored the feeling gripping them tight. "Move!" He yelled to the girl as he flung Hemlock toward the skeleton.

    ──────── 𝐌𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐞 "𝐌𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐞" 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩
    [] | Mars | 29 | Female | ➡ The Van | Tags: Clive, Teilo
    ℎ𝑜𝑛𝑜𝑟 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑑 𝑜𝑓 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑔𝑖𝑣𝑒
Moxie felt a twinge of irritation tightening in her skull, but it wasn't enough to warrant violence towards the other ghost. "Do you need a brain washing, Clive?" She hissed in response. "You've been floating dead in the land of the free for forty years now, the least you could do is learn to understand proper English instead of that slurred nonsense. I've met mutes who articulate better than you do." That was a little uncalled for, but Moxie felt entitled to be a little bit snippy given the freshness of her demise. The mention of Clive as a father came as a surprise, but she saw it a bit more believable than Taffy did, it seemed. It sounded sweet, but a little too mushy for Moxie's taste. The daughter of Mars refrained from pulling a face and kept quiet during Clive's spiel, though it certainly cleared some things up. "Explains why you stayed. Guess I should be glad you're still kickin' it here," she added, twisting her neck to crack it. Unfortunately, being a ghost offered no such relief.

"I tried to get to Jupiter," Moxie corrected. "I wasn't dead then, otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation. I died at some point over there and, for some reason, the reaper I was with brought me here. With that other one, I think her name started with an A, or something." She chewed her lip thoughtfully. "Besides. I don't even know where the Greeks are. I know about 'em, they're in Long Island somewhere, but I've never been. It's not like I've got - an internal demigod compass that'll just point me to either of the magical camps. I've got Mars blood." she shrugged. "Isn't of much use here, unless I can haunt some people and piss them off with odikinesis."

The mention of Khione was new information if she recalled it correctly. It explained the weather wars here in New York, and it certainly made sense if Malcolm Kingston had any connection to it. The press conference mentioned the weather was the result of a rebellious demigod, but she took that with a grain of salt. "Missing pieces. Yeah, you're tellin' me." Moxie folded her arms, but a moment of further thought recalled another piece of the puzzle from the depths of her foggy memory. "Hold on," she murmured, leaning forward and looking to the left, unfocused. "Queen of Diamonds." it didn't make sense without context, but it was coming slowly. "I think - I remember a conversation with him. Kingston."

And meanwhile a man was falling from space

Mirabelle Everhart
||17|She/Her|Aphrodite|Head Counselor|Location: Hampton Inn, Dining Room|Tags: Aiden|

Despite her dwindling appetite, Mirabelle picked at her muffin as Aiden talked. It wasn't her usual healthy protein-filled breakfast. Far from it. But she wasn't feeling great, and it was the only thing that sounded vaguely edible. It wasn't very flavourful - or perhaps her tastebuds weren't working properly. Still, she needed to eat something, and it was food. Besides, the act kept her hands busy.

"Sorry," she stated when he pointed out that it didn't take much to send her into a tizzy. "Put it out of my mind. I - I think I can do that." She took a short, sharp breath as she nodded, more to herself than Aiden. In truth, she wasn't sure she could. The heavy topic weighed on her already clouded mind, darkening into a storm. I have to focus on something else or the storm will break. Focus on - focus on... She wasn't sure what to focus on. Every thought in her pounding head rang with panic. But she had to try. Just focus on... focus on Aiden's voice. How calm and collected he sounds.

It was working. The Doors of Death being open was a guess, not a fact. Yes, they were on their own, and that was frightening. But they had each other at the very least - she took solace in knowing that. "We don't know for sure that the Doors are open. If they are, then it's more than likely related in some way. He's right. If they are, it's probably related, too convenient to be a coincidence - ugh, Mirabelle, you're doing it again! Focus on his voice, remember? Focus on his voice and nothing else. You're going to be fine. You're always fine. Right. The best they could do was keep an eye on Teilo. After he'd left so abruptly, worry had started nagging at her roots. But she didn't know him well enough to determine if going after him would help or just make things worse.

Aiden made some very good points - points that calmed the fluttering in her chest. "Yes - um - thank you, Aiden. I -" her voice cracked, and she had to pause for some tea. "- I'm sorry. I let my nerves get carried away for a bit back there." A nervous chuckle, another cough smothered in her scarf. Three hours of sleep will do that to you. "Seriously, thank you. I mean it. Sometimes -" But the news was on, and someone had unmuted it. Turned it up, in fact. One name caught her attention, sending chills through her bones. Kingston. She stopped mid-sentence as what little attention her sleep-deprived mind had left focused on the words being broadcast.

"- the polar nexus continues to wreak havoc throughout the state of New York. With UK Defence Minister Malcolm Kingston's claims about 'demi-gods' in our midst -" the broadcaster made little air quotes with his fingers "- the public wants to know - are these dangerous teens really responsible for the current winter weather warning in place, or is the culprit climate change? That's all from me. Paul, back to you."
There was an awkward pause as the news anchors switched out.
"Thanks Terry. In other news, fashion mogul and NBC news sponsor Daniel Everhart released a statement claiming that he is swiftly accelerating the production of his winter line. The heavily anticipated 'Everwinter' collection will be available for preorder just a few weeks from today."

Mirabelle had just taken another sip of tea, and at the most inopportune time. She nearly spit it across the room in her sudden shock at hearing her father's name so unexpectedly. Instead, she swallowed the drink rather awkwardly. Zut alors. Just her luck. Within seconds, she was bent over coughing as the warm liquid went down the wrong pipe, surely calling unwanted attention to herself. Not only was the act uncomfortably painful, but absolutely mortifying. Oh mes dieux, everyone's probably staring at me now. I wish I could turn invisible like Teilo. She did her best to muffle it all in her elbow, though the damage had already been done.

Juliet Pratten
||16|She/Her|Hermes|Location: Half-Blood Hill|Tags: Oliver, Aoife, Sam|

"You haven't seen a movie? Dude, what century are you even from?" Witty comments aside, the boy was weird - Juliet had to admit that. "Doesn't matter. Stick with me, kid, and we'll change that." Oliver's next utterances did nothing but confuse her further. What the hell was he going on about? "Shakespeare? Of course, dude. I don't care much for the guy myself but he's a classic. Even I know that, and I don't read." Wait - did he say casino? "Wait, casino? You must mean the Lotus place! Oy vey. That explains everything. You know, my pal Ambrose spent some time there too. You might've even crossed paths - son of Hades, huge flirt? I mean, a lot has changed since then, I think he was like thirteen or fourteen at the time..." The blade at the back of her neck was mostly forgotten by this point; her brain having moved on. Besides, Oliver didn't seem so frightening when he started stammering. Well, until she cast a glance over at Aoife.

The normally boisterous blonde was shaking like a leaf; her voice shrill and breathy. "Eeeee-vah?" Juliet hesitantly tried out her Wall-E imitation, which usually would have caught Aoife's attention. But the other girl was gone - or at least, her mind was. Trapped in some nightmare of its own creation, by the look of it. "What did you do to her?" Juliet's gaze flickered back to Oliver. Her words weren't angry, no - more afraid than anything. But then the blade fell into the snow with a white poof of powder, and he was apologising to Aoife. Okay, so maybe this guy's not so bad. "God of fear? Man, that explains a lot. So which one, then? Phineas or Ferb?"

She didn't have time to wait for a response before another stranger came clambering up the hill. But that's not what drew Juliet's attention. Something glinting silver was pulling itself up out of the snow, making bony clattering sounds as it did. "Whoa! What the - where the hell did that thing come from!?" It was a skeletal warrior. Clad in notably more antiquated armour than the war-movie-zombies they'd been fighting before, but it was still a member of the undead. "I thought we got rid of all those schmucks!" There were no purple flames burning in its eyes, not this time. "I swear, if this is some dumb Hades kid's idea of a prank, I'll have to teach them a thing or two about practical jokes."

She glanced over to Oliver, and then again to Aoife before looking back at the undead soldier towering over the girl. "Hey, Olive Oil, you want some combat practise?" It was only one skeleton. Surely four - no, maybe three demigods, given Aoife's current state - could take it down. Besides, it was shiny, and Juliet wanted its armour. I could at least make a few bucks selling it to the Hephaestus guys. "Hey, bonehead!" she called out. "Yeah, you! Why dontcha pick on someone your own... uh... I mean, you're kind of bigger than all of us... bad insults aside, leave that chick alone! It's my job to pick on the noobs, not yours!"

Ambrose Fletcher
||19|He/Him|Hades|Location: Dining Pavilion|Tags: Drew|

Ambrose couldn't help but laugh at Drew's comment about how dangerous their lives were, though he was unsure if it was meant to be a joke or not. "Definitely overwhelming," he nodded in agreement. "Having ghoulies come at you from every which-way, dressed in some sort of military uniform... not my cup of tea." Despite the grin he flashed Drew's way, dread gnawed at the pit of his stomach. It had been terrifying, in all truth - undead soldiers armed with military-grade weapons. He hadn't even been aware that automatic guns existed until that moment. The venti were less intimidating, but still scary in their own way.

The conversation turned to training, which was a nice change of pace. "You go out and shoot in the wee hours of the morning?" Ambrose raised an eyebrow. "Impressive. My arse isn't out of bed until brekkie, unless good ol' Augs has anything to say about it. Who am I to disappoint my favourite half-sibling?" His tone was light, the last few words said with a joking character. "Speaking of, she's been spending a lot of time with Orin as of late... you know, the bloke who died and then came back. If I didn't know any better, I would think they're going out."

His gossip was cut short as the discussion switched to their icy predicament. "Vivienne? Of course it was bloody Vivienne, who else would it have been, my nan?" Ambrose huffed. "Heard it from a mate who spoke to one o' the ghosties directly. Painted a perfect picture of the bird." He rocked from his heels to the balls of his feet as he talked; an idle motion betraying his nervousness on the subject. "If I had to guess, I'd say she's coming back round for seconds. But we'll be ready for her this time." I hope. Oh, put a sock in it, mate, of course we'll be ready! We're... umpteen demigods against one little prick. We can take her. The mention of the quest group brought his mind back into focus. "Well, we could Iris-message them, but... I lost all my drachmas to Dahlia last week. I know, I know, gambling with a child of Nemesis wasn't the most brilliant idea, but a lad's got to have a lark now and then!" As he yammered on, a rough-hewn jewel pulled itself from the earth and rose into his hand. "Fat lot of good this'll do to get a hold of them. You want a cursed diamond? Neither does Iris." He pocketed the undoubtedly ill-fortuned gemstone. "Besides, my mate Kat brought up a good point - the snow goddess didn't show her gorgeous face this last time, and we've got to take her out as well. And I don't mean for supper. She's a much more massive threat than Vivienne, but don't tell either I said that. Don't want miss high-and-mighty's ego blowing up like a balloon. Thing's already the size of Mount Olympus." The smirk returned to his face, though his eyes darkened when he caught Drew's remark about godly parentage. "Preaching to the choir, love," he muttered under his breath. On the bright side, I don't have to toil away on a farm anymore. Almost dying every day is less boring, at least.

"Well, there's nothing tame about what I'm gonna do when I find out who messed with my stuff," Liv retorted. She didn't seem to care that the other girl was holding a wicked-looking sword, apart from how cool the sword was. The freckled young woman asked her a question, to which Liv crossed her arms over her chest. She was about to say something snarky when a better idea flickered into view. "Yeah, actually. Where did you get that sword? I want one. Or maybe a set of brass knuckles, or an axe or something. Ooh wait - no, knives. Definitely knives. And maybe brass knuckles too, but silver with spikes on the end. Then they'll match my jacket." Her demeanor had changed from ferociously aggressive to giddy with excitement in the blink of an eye.

Vivienne Isole
||18|She/Her|Khione|Location: Waffle House, Lancaster, PA|Tags: Kayle|

Vivienne was vaguely aware of something being slid in front of her, lying on the table. A voice talking, going in one ear and out the other. And then there were arms around her; arms that were big and strong and warm and most definitely real. It was the first sensation she'd seen as real since the... whatever happened in the kitchen.

"You're gonna be safe here with me, and I'm not going anywhere."
Vivienne didn't realise how tightly her fingers had dug into Kayle's shirt; like she was gripping on for dear life. Tears steamed against her frigid cheeks, but stopped soonafter they tracked their way down her face. "Kayle." She was real, so so real. And she wasn't going to leave. Everyone else left. Her foster parents, people she thought were her friends, Audra... but Kayle wasn't going to leave. She wasn't alone anymore. Vivienne took a shaky breath as she felt the tremours in her body start to ebb.

In coming back into herself, she noticed the rather... public venue of her spectacle. A building of some sort - a restaurant? A Domicile of Waffles, I believe? Her stomach felt empty. Hunger. I am registering hunger. That was a good sign; another real sensation she could latch onto. It was then that she became aware that she was clutching Kayle's shirt in a vice. She quickly relaxed her grip, eyes drifting to the tiled floor below. What - what are those monstrosities upon my feet!? They were horrendous, that much she was certain of. She wished she could have kicked them off right there, but walking around in bare feet was unladylike. I am... I am still dressed in the clothing I have slept in. Another embarrassing factoid. Pair that with her tangled, unbraided hair and emotional outburst, and she was practically squirming with discomfort. "Kayle." She said it again, louder this time. Words were still taking a little bit to get used to. "Let us ascertain nourishment, then leave this place. I would like to be wearing something more... becoming."

Sam backed away from the skeleton. His bones clacked as he stepped toward her, sword ready to run her through. She was just about to accept her doom when she heard shouts behind her.
Sam turned quickly to see three people at the top of the hill. Where had they come from? The one shouting was a girl about her age. She was pretty . . . no, that couldn't be Sam's focus at the moment. A skeletal soldier was chasing her, three teenagers just happened to be roaming in the woods, and it was snowing in the middle of summer.
Needless to say, Sam was more than a little confused. "Help!" She yelled as the skeleton drew closer, despite her attempts to create distance between them. The soldier was surprisingly quick. ". . . And who are you calling a chick?"
Sam's thoughts were interrupted by a boy's yell. Duck? Sam only had a moment to process the demand before a weapon was hurtling toward her. She threw herself on the cold ground, covering her head with her hands, and not a moment too soon. The hooked weapon whizzed past before embedding itself into the enemy's skeletal chest.
Sam risked a glance at the soldier before sighing in relief. That had to be it, right? The undead soldier would surely die (was that even possible?) from the hit.
Unfortunately, Sam was wrong. With a disgusting CRACK the old soldier removed the weapon from its ribcage before swinging it at Sam.

At least someone agreed with him! Of course, Drew considered the fact that he might just be humoring him… he never quite knew how to read people. Peopling was hard! “Not mine either… seems like it’d be your dad’s thing though.” His father, after all, was Lord of the Underworld so he had to like ghoulies and all that, right. “How are we even supposed to fight the undead anyway? Like… they would just come back any time we beat them down, right?” He didn’t really know the mechanics. Surely there was a book somewhere in camp that could help him figure that one out. Either way, he knew he might need to update his arsenal a little if he were to stand chance against an AR-15.

Drew nodded enthusiastically at the mention of shooting. “Calms me down… I have issues sleeping, and shooting helps me find peace.” He answered with a shrug as he continued to eat his breakfast, picking through it and occasionally tossing some to Luna because a dog needed to eat too, thank you very much. “You ought to try it sometime, Ambrose. It’s quite relaxing when there aren’t a bunch of kids flailing about. I swear some of the newer campers still can’t tell the fletching from an arrow head.” Of course, they were there to learn, so that wasn’t necessarily the problem… it was the not asking for help that was the problem.

Vivienne. He’d heard stories, though he personally didn’t remember her since he’d only been there three years. “Who was off speaking to the ghosts?” He asked in confusion, wondering just where Ambrose had managed to get this intelligence… and then there was Iris-messaging. He frowned at the mention of him losing all of his drachmae. “I have some if it would make it easier… I don’t use it all that much.” He kept to himself, and if he needed more then he was certain he could figure something out. After all, he didn’t gamble with children of Nemesis… he didn’t gamble at all.

A raised eyebrow followed. Talk of taking on a goddess caught his attention more than a cursed diamond being pulled from the ground or the rather idiotic idea of gambling all of one’s drachmae away. “Hold on, back up. You think we should be going after a goddess?” He caught about through. “Do you know the kinds of chaos that will cause? It will be bloody World War II over again and what is the likelihood that a bunch of demigods, some half-trained, can pull something like that off? Especially if we’re fighting the undead with AKs every other night.” Surely there was a better way to handle that, right? There had to be some kind of priority… The desire to have a mother who wasn’t a Goddess, but a normal human, had never quite been so high.
