(i have no idea how to code or how starting posts are supposed to look so i apologize if this looks weird/isn’t a proper starting post!)

Magpie took one last look at the abandoned twoleg house she and her family had lived in for as long as she could remember, before bounding off. She’d decided to leave her father and siblings to start a ‘Clan’, as she had heard about from her friend who lived with twolegs. She’d told her everything that she’d learned from neighbors who were descended from Clan cats; how the Clans had worked, what they were, their history, the list goes on. It all fascinated Magpie. So much, apparently, that I’m leaving my family to start my own Clan, she thought bitterly. But she shook it off. She’d always wanted to do this. When she asked her family to join her in a Clan, they’d turned her down. Now they’d wake up to her missing. Someday, I’ll be telling my future Clanmates about this, she realized. they’ll learn about the day MagpieClan was founded.
