its so much more time consuming than i thought it would be lol lol coz my char has to consult the crystal ball for every door she visits and also for every one who visits her door!

I think this is my only year ever I haven't participated in LOLO ;-; I've been so busy with moving, work, and cleaning my dad's place that I just haven't had time ;A; I love seeing everyone's costumes and stories! I would spend hours here reading/trick or treating and giving out huge amount of treats when I could, ahhh! Is it too late to sign up again?! xD

My very first year I tried to update my ToTr's thank you message to be personal for every person I ToT'd at and it was a nightmare! It took forever to do so I went with copy and paste ones ever since lol. I give you mad props for doing that though!

haha, that’s what I was starting with now but since I have gotten so many on the first day I’m probably going to make a copy and paste especially so I can focus on treating people with art pieces.

Edit: actually I realized I answered the door differently for everyone instead of saying thank you differently.

I almost lost motivation to keep up already but I’m going to get it together.

tricks usually are given out when the person either had their lights off and you sent a message, they have nothing on your wishlist, or in some cases, some people use random number generators or dice to decide whether you get a trick or not! for a trick, its often just a message back saying you got tricked with an image or something, but if youre giving them out then feel free to get creative! i know i def appreciate a creative trick sometimes! :)

Hello! Could anyone give me some thoughts on my story? This is my first year participating and not sure if I'm meeting standards well.

Quinn took one last long, hard look at himself in the mirror. Lost in thought, he absentmindedly tilted his hat forward to sit at a jaunty angle over his eyes.

Yes, that was much better.

His tail thumped against the ground as he inspected himself, turning this way and that to get the full effect of his costume. He cut quite a dashing figure to his own eyes, and the wide hat brim cast a mysterious shadow over his face that only added to the effect.

Quinn bounded happily down the stairs, stopping to snag his candy bucket on the way, and was about to leave when he heard his mother call from the kitchen; she didn't sound happy at all. His shoulders slumped and he stopped to stare down at the floor. He knew what it would be; the same talk about letting go of childish activities, growing up, and taking things more seriously.

As he sat there, a light slowly sparked in his eye. All at once, in a bout of frenetic energy, he snapped his head up, jumped to his feet, and burst out of the front door into the freedom of the night. Teenagers weren't too old to trick-or-treat at all, and even if this was his last Halloween doing so, he was going to make it the best one ever!

He held his head high as he made his way to the next house on the block, enjoying the cool night air, and there was a smile on his face when he knocked on the door.

"Trick or Treat!"
