That's entirely up to you! Some people will just send the trade, others will send the trade and a PM.

Hello! I was interested in joining LOLO but I don’t have a costume. I noticed there was a linked thread for finding a costume but there is only one person listed there and it was posted in 2019. Just wanted to ask if that list was up to date, because I’d hate to pester someone about a costume if they are no longer giving out costumes, sorry if this is something that is super obvious and I’ve somehow managed to miss it!

Either way LOLO sounds super fun!

That list should be up-to-date. Celozon has always given out costumes every year, so you're safe to ask them for one!

Everything on the main thread will look like it's from 2019, since we've been reusing the same one since then. It does get updated as needed every year though! It just doesn't show the regular edited note at the bottom of each post because CS staff can hide that for theirs.

Also, when i send a ToT pm to someone and receive a Trick or a treat, my char likes to give fortune snippets, currently i just put it in the reply to the trade when i accept the trade request, should i send a pm as well?

Also up to you! We don't really have any rules about how or where you reply to things, we pretty much leave that up to each individual to decide on their own. All we require is that the initial ToT message be sent through PM, and that the person receiving it must respond with a trick or a treat (however they decide to do so, PM or trade or both). Beyond that it's just personal preference ^^

I just really look forward to getting into the community more and making some halloween pals. I'm also going to try my hardest this year and participate in inktober on a different platform. I wish everyone a fun, safe and spoopy October.

whats the difference between outbox and sent messages? some of the ToT pms iv sent are in the outbox and not the sent msgs so i wasnt sure what the difference was btwn the two...or rather why pms were still in the outbox and not yet in the sent msgs....

Messages that are still in outbox just haven’t been read yet by the recipient. The ones that are sent means they have clicked and read message
