How much of a suit, and like, what style for base or material for skin/fur?
I haven't quite decided yet I'm trying to figure out how to go about it. I heard that something like a minky would probably be ideal for skin/fur i do want to do something cute and toony

Personally, I'd say maybe aim for a kemono style, I think it'd suit an axolotl very well! And minky sounds like a great option. You could also do a high quality fleece, I know that's used for suits, or a fur shaved to an extremely short pile.
THANK YOU TO NIGHT RAVEN FOR TRADING ME A BLUE ROSE DOG! THE HUNT IS OVER AFTER A WHOLE YEAR!

if you are inexperienced, id say to go with short pile fur. less can go wrong... fleece and minky you need a perfect fit all around. its not very forgiving fabric. i think short pile fur would look better for an axolotl anyways!

Disrep is finally done! She’s got magnetic wings, a tail, a moving jaw, eye LEDs, and some minky pawbs!

Edit: I know her paws aren’t stuffed. They get too hot if they are, unfortunately
I’m now working on my fursona, Sawyer!

I got my first partial about a month ago! I was supposed to be going to a con this month too, but I didn't get tickets in time and they sold out :'< I was so excited to show it off! The only problem is that when I wear his head, the front gets weighed down and falls. Right now I'm just wearing a beanie under it to make it more snug, but does anyone have any other advice? I'm also thinking about lining the head and paws, or getting them lined but I'm not sure where to start. I'd additionally like to add elastic to the paws so they're more snug. Other than that, I really want to find local furries to go out suiting with, but it's really hard! Any help is greatly appreciated~

Ah, might be going to MFF for the first time next month. Wasn't planning on it but my boyfriend is going crazy because the theme is intergalactic which is his favorite and he doesn't want to miss it. So it's very last minute but I think we can make it work lol. Gonna be flying with 2 full digi suits. Anyone have any tips for flying with suits/ anything I should know about MFF? We've only been to smaller cons before so it's probably gonna be a bit overwhelming
