The tan eared and gray backed male pup whined a bit too. The white pup moved his little white tipped gray tail a bit. His eyes, which remained unopened, were blue right now. One day they’d turn green, but that was far in the future.

Dexter held back her smirk, she could hear the annoyance in Shark's voice towards Hades, "Maybe I'll ask him, doubt he'll listen, he's become pretty incompetent lately, I mean Apollo and Bella, that was a big mistake. A leader shouldn't make such mistakes, maybe he'll listen if you talk to him. Y'know about his recent loss of focus to his role as leader." Dexter said casually her manipulative side kicking in, this was good, the lead warrior of the clan noticing and speaking of the leader's flaws. She could use this, pit Shark and Hades against each other, this would show how incapable Hades was of leading, opening up the slot of power for someone new. Dex would ask Hades if Shark could be her mentor, it was perfect, she could build up Shark's resentment for Hades and get better training.

She whined as Summer rolled over her and she tried to move, but curse her useless legs. Why didn’t they work as well as her mom’s Whalen she left them in the nursery? She could feel, but couldn't. She curled herself closer to her mother’s warm stomach and closer to her mother. She liked her mother’s scent. It was soothing to smell.

Are you ready Apollo?” Such was life. This was the part of her job that she hated, but it had to be done.
