The sweet and gentle but stubborn and sometimes hard headed she wolf yawned. The beautiful lighter tan she wolf perked black lined ears. Amber eyes glanced about, and she ate. She wondered how many pups she might have. She couldn’t guess though, as it could be one to four. She could have one, she could have four, she could have two or three.

The kind and caring but shy and nervous trained black one noticed when Saffron looked over. Grant had noticed them as well. S/he dipped their head to their trainer first. S/he then headed for the prey pile, because they hadn’t eaten yet. They found a squirrel, which would have to be enough. They wanted others to have the bigger and better prey. They wandered back over, and sat down. They didn’t interrupt the mates, but nodded to them once more. They then settled to eat the squirrel. They hoped they’d be okay until dinner time with just the squirrel.

The flirtatious and playful but fire disliking one hummed a canine sound. The brown wolf had slightly longer legs than others. The brown eyes looked about as they sat. No one had come to tell them if they were needed for a hunting party. They could surely go on their own. They could also get hurt out there by their self, though.

The playful and loyal but fiery and stubborn one looked around for Jay. The pretty chocolate one, with a eh it e muzzle and chest patch, sighed. S/he then looked over and saw Stryker. He was with Talon, and they felt like something was up between those two. Their white tipped tail flicked. They stood up on white paws and headed over. Light gray eyes focused mostly on their trainer though. They said “Good morning,” once they actually got close enough to the two.

The happy and lucky but hard headed and sometimes loud one smiled. The black nosed dark gray one said “That sounds great. Let’s go, let’s go!” they said in an excited sort of way. They flicked their tail and twitched their ears a couple times.

The honest and trustworthy but sometimes cold and cruel one hummed a canine sound. The beautiful gray wolf wondered if Pandora was up. The amber eyed she wolf was friends with the other she wolf. She shook her head at herself. She knew she only had a week left until confined to the nursery. Until then, she had her duty as a warrior to fulfill.

The story loving but cold one hummed a canine sound then nodded. The black furred and brown eyed one glanced to the others. He then made a small sound as Hati strode out. He moved quick to try and keep up, and shook his head a couple times.

When Max emerged and addressed her, Enui turned her full attention to her Alpha, inclining her head once more towards him as she made her reply.

"Yes, my Alpha. I have ensured that I'm always at peak readiness to help our pack and one of the most important things to create that ambiance is a good night's sleep." She took pause, dipped her head a little lower and then turned her gaze to the wolves that had begun to emerge from their den. Hati was leading out a hunting patrol while Arian was speaking with her sister, though that interaction seemed short-lived.

"Alpha, I had a thought concerning the trainers and trainees - if I may reflect on this thought with you?" She proposed politely.

"So formal," the black furred Alpha chuckled to himself, almost a warm tone. However, he didn’t mind Enui's manner of speaking. He knew it came with the intention— successfully— of a respectful manner towards her superior. In any case, Max always had the time to listen to what Enui had to say, regardless of what was going on. That was why he had chosen her, was it not? As his adviser and as the future Alpha? It would do well for her to get some additional leadership experience— including implanting ideas— and for him to hear of potentials.

Max couldn’t help but be curious too. If there was something he couldn’t resist, it was deals and compromises, and part of that was the chance to see change that may be for the better. "Of course. If you have something on your mind, then I am here to listen."

Red | Fire Warrior | Location: Camp | Tagging: Apollo, Bones (mentions: Hati, Arian)

Red had woken up a little on the later side of things, her motivation slow and dwindling even after a good night's sleep. When she strode out, it was to hear that Hati was gathering the hunters to leave. She glanced around for the lead warrior, Arian, but spotted her in the camp, not doing much at all. Maybe the lead would get off her tail and start barking orders at the warriors at some point, but for the time being, Red was content to head straight to the prey pile.

She passed by Coal, spotting his dark pelt disappearing back into the Hunters Den, but she didn't speak out against it. What business of it was hers anyway? However, when she spotted Bones and Apollo staring intently at the entrance of the camp, chortling between themselves and looking mischievous, she heaved a sigh and padded over quietly, coming up behind them.

"What are we laughing about today, youngsters?" She asked the two trainees.

Enui tried not to feel too offended when her Alpha chuckled at her expense.
"Respectful, I prefer." She suggested quietly, before she cleared her throat and nodded.
"I wanted to propose daily group lessons - where our trainers and trainees all go over battle moves with the lot of them, just the basics, killing strikes and easy defense moves. Every wolf, in some capacity, should be able to defend themselves against the Lightning villains across the other side of our border, regardless of what rank they hold." She suggested to Max, glancing at him from the corner of her eye to evaluate his thoughts on the matter.

Her gaze shifted once more to the pack that surrounded them as she felt someone eyeing her. It was then that she spotted Erle and her eyes lit with muted excitement. Of course... he walked over to Arian and her sister, but he had looked at her, however briefly. Undoubtedly, because of her rank and not actual interest. She wasn't blind to his favoritism for the Lead Warrior. Still.. perhaps they'd be able to speak at some point today... if she could ever pull his attention away from Arian.

Storm | Lightning Hunter | Location: Camp | Tagging: The Brothers (mentions: Toby, Karter, Axis, Oak)

Storm nodded to Toby to the tangle of hunter brothers. Toby had mentioned to her that she was to only lead Eurydice and Alistair to the field border, but it seemed like all of the brother hunters had been volunteered for the patrol. She offered the lot of them a smile.

They're more like a hive of bees than wolves - all working together, rather than having discernible personalities as individuals. She thought and pushed forward towards the exit. "Alright, you lot, let's get a move on towards the field. The sooner we get out there, the better luck we'll have of bringing back prey to fill our packmates bellies... and our own too. Keep a keen eye out on your surroundings and your noses to the ground." She said and then she strode forward, out of camp and away from the growing conflict that the two Leads were facing against.

Aristaeus, Alistair, Leander & Eurydice // Lightning Hunters // Tagging: Storm, Kin // Location: Camp, On Way to Field Border

They'd been relatively quiet for the time being, possibly because they were still sleepy, but as they followed behind Storm and as they listened to them it was Eurydice who's expression began to betray him, lip curled up in a sudden showing of the unpleasantness. Leander sensed the tension and backed off of the group a bit to trail behind the others. Aristaeus showed no irritation physically but he noted his brother and didn't intervene.
Alistair sidled up besides the smaller, angered brother, and with the presence of his kin and his mind clear of that foggy sleepiness Eurydice pointed out sharply. "You barely-trainee-graduates really think you've got the whole thing figured out, haven't you. Don't forget we'e been doing this a lot longer than you have, and don't talk to us as if we're wide-eyed pups." There was a ripple of agreement, and Alistair murmured more kindly with his head lowered onto Leander's shoulder- they'd stopped for just a moment. "We've got this, don't worry. If we didn't know how to do our jobs by now we'd be pretty poor pack members."
Aristaeus had been silent up to now, letting it play out, but he nudged Storm's cheek now and spoke up, eyeing Eurydice- who's fangs were still flashing ."Why don't we get back to it, there's lots of large prey to be biting into." Eurydice either agreed with his eldest, well rather largest, brother. Or perhaps he didn't want the scuffle, but either way he let his lips drop over his teeth once more and focused on his surroundings.

Strykers chest grew somewhat worrying. " Really? Is your nest bad? I can go get better moss, or maybe go and take some downy from a bird" He said quickly. He didn't like that the Hunter wasn't getting the sleep he deserves. Strykers ears flicked as he heard approaching paw steps of his trainee. " Good morning," He said, dipping his head. "It's nice to see you up so early, but you can go get some fresh-kill before we start our training for the day."


Bones | Hunter Trainee | Fire Pack | Tagging: Apollo, Red | Location: Camp

Bones immediately jumped from his position against Apollo " Oh! Hi Red! We were just..." He looked from Apollo to Red " We were just watching the birds, they woke us both up this morning, and you know" He stomped his paw "We have to plan our revenge". That was an entire lie, the birds were being loud this morning, but he wouldn't dare tell the older wolves about the prank.

Apollo turned as he heard a voice. “Ya! We were planning on going to sneak up on them and jump up and bark really loud to scare them off!” He lied smoothly.

“It isn’t your fault Toby, you aren’t Karter and you aren’t responsible for his actions. You are yourself, and that is all that matters” Oak responded trying to comfort the stressed male.

Axis shakes his head, “truce?” He asks. He wasn’t one to apologize but he did allow truces but only between him and his ‘friends’… well as close as a friend he could get… “ see ya!” he replies to Karter and trots over to the hunting group.

Basil nods, “I was thinking we could do a little obstacle course? See who can reach the edge of the border and back here the fastest? There will be lots of obstacles too, logs, vines, bushes, you get the point. So whatcha say? Friendly competition?” She asks, her tail wagging.

Kiwi was up and about in the morning. She wondered if her mentor, Erle was up. She decided to go see if he was up yet. She walked over to the Warrior's den and peeked in. "Erle? you in there?" She whispered quietly as if not to wake those who were still sleeping.

Ravn woke up to the blaring sun. It's so hot He complained in his mind. He sighed and got to his paws. He padded out and into camp. He saw that many were already up. He decided to avoid them all and sit in the shade, where it was cooler.
