definitely agree with atlas here! while of course its not required, i think its just common courtesy to not use super duper bright colors in your story or sig for lolo.

another thing id like to add is where you place your sign for lolo. some of us are purely mobile and dont have a choice but to view mostly mobile, so if possible, ofc, its best to put your lights status at the top left of your sig! :3

Just thought I'd pop in to mention that we require light status in signatures to be easily readable! It is something that we look out for when accepting forms, though it's always possible for some to slip through or be edited after acceptance - so if you notice a user has their light status in a really small or brightly colored font, please message a thread mod so we can PM them about it!

The same goes for the location of the light status, everyone needs to be able to see it (even mobile users). This is why we highly recommend keeping it in the top left corner of your signature - and it can also be a good idea to put your light status in the interests section of your profile as well just to ensure it doesn't get cut off. If you're unable to see a user's light status, again, please do message one of us thread mods about it!

(Obviously this only applies after the game officially starts on October 1st, since light status doesn't need to be present before then.)

Any opinions on my story/costume? (I'm planning on adding a red cloack/cape and black centurion shield and bracers to the costume when I get them but still?)

Trick or Treater:
Virgoth is his name!

There was a small jungle planet right next to the strange, foggy one that most called Luminis. This one, though, had no name but it had life on it none the less. More than just life, actually. It had a population of a whole different culture compared to Earth and Luminis. The people on this unnamed planet were green and feathery and their clothing was made of the planet's vegetation. Thus, appearance-wise, Virgoth was a perfect example of his race. However, action-wise, he had gotten into trouble with his people and now Virgoth needed a quick escape from his home planet.

In his earlier years, Virgoth had visited many-a-planets including Earth and Luminis. And this year, oh boy! This year Virgoth was sure that those trips were a stroke of luck as now he knew which planet would suit his needs perfectly. You see, one thing Virgoth had come across while researching Earth, was this peculiar little tradition that Earth's population partook in. Halloween. This tradition seemed ridiculous to Virgoth at first when he'd thumbled across it, but now he could not have asked for a better...disguise shall he say. Now what would his first ever Halloween costume be? As it was, a royalty of any species was always a safe option to go with because should his people go look for him, they would never in a million light-years recognise him with all of the...royalness. A thing, which he had never had his name be uttered in relation to. It was a fool proof plan indeed. With this in mind, it was now time for him to head off to Earth in search of the perfect costume for such a plan to become effective. Virgoth knew exactly what he was looking for and only the most realistic royalty costume would do. And what better way to obtain one such thing than from a royal themselves? Only, the problem was that Virgo would get in trouble yet again, if he were to get one as he had no Earthly currencies on him. Thus, time was of the essence.

Luckily, for him, time was not linear. Virgoth was of a race that had harnessed the power of time on their side and it was not a great feat for him to slip into the past of Earth and pick up a costume from an unfortunate royalty's wardrobe. Even more easier was to just slip away from the scene without anyone noticing. And, even better, this culprit was to be never caught as they never actually existed in that place in time. Back to the future, and Virgoth was stuck in a bush of some sort in an Earth forest tangled with the robes he had taken as a souvenir. Virgoth took his time to sort himself out of the bushes and finally dressed up in his costume. With the king's crown on his head now (a bit wobbly but still there), he was ready to go. When he'd first read about this Halloween and had this plan planned out, Virgoth had only looked to dress up. Then he'd remembered having heard on his earlier trip that the door-to-door part of this tradition was to obtain...candy? Now, then and there, and already this far into the tradition, Virgoth had decided he would taste this earthly treat. Stepping out of the forest, he emerged to a more housed area, picked up his first house and after observing the other trick or treaters, Virgoth did what they all seemed to do. He waltzed to the house's front door and knocked.

this is a great tool to use to track where youve been! however im worried its a little confusing (maybe a little too minimal even) so could you maybe explain how to use it for us confused folks? :0

LoLo is my favorite time of year on CS I think. I always get so excited to see the topics pop back up in My Posts. I hope everyone likes my story this year, I can wait to read everyone's myself! My current job has CS blocked which stinks so hopefully I can leave my lights on all month again and don't get too backed up. *fingers crossed*

@randomsia, that spreadsheet is GREAT!!! could you maybe tell me how to modify it so it only tracks where you go rather than where you go and who comes to you? as i dont keep track of who visits me, so thatd be v helpful! i think its as simple as deleting a column but i dont want to mess it up heh ;-;

also i updated my sig for lolo! im so excited ehhehehe
