_Rowan nodded. "Yes, nasty little buggers." He shook himself lightly. "Would you like to go hunting? I scented a sick doe earlier. I think she lost her fawn."

"Sure, I'm always up for food." She looked around the land, "Which direction?" Estelle asked, her eyes searching. Only then did she really take in how small the land they had was compared to what it once was; well... from what she can remember. Pups think things are always bigger than they actually are. Perspective, she supposed.

_Rowan laughed at her comment and padded off, motioning with his tail for Estelle to follow. He caught scent of the doe. It was old and weak, a quick kill. He crouched downwind of his prey, making a motion with his ear that indicated Estelle was to go across from him to flush the doe into his jaws.

Estelled padded a ways around the doe, until she saw it's face. She bounded out of the bushes, sending the doe fleeing the other direction; right at Rowan.

_Rowan leapt out of the bushes in perfect synchrony with Estelle, landing with his front paws, the bounding back up with his powerful hind legs. He slammed his bulky body into the side of the doe's neck, knocking her over before saying a prayer and then ending it's life with a sharp tug at the base of it's head, breaking it's neck. He then tore the belly open and began to feast, lowering his tail so Estelle could eat.

Estelle gave a short victory yip before sliding next to Rowan to begin to eat, "So," She started, making lunch conversation, "Has your day been eventful at all?" Estelle smiled before taking a bite of the meat, chewing slowly.

If they were born two years after the oath, it'd be OY 2. It's a little complicated, sorry.))

_"Nothing," he said to her, lowering his head to take another chunk of the haunch. "I hope that some of the others will come back soon. The scouting mission wasn't that far away, I thought. I suppose they could have gotten caught by some coyotes, though. And I worry about Ada," he said, his worries spilling out. "She's old, and no one saw her after the Great Battle." Ada was Rowan's favorite wolf, almost a grandmother.
