I have gotten a decent number of questions rolling in from various people and thought "hey, maybe I ought to make a post compiling all these questions together in case other people have similar ones". I'd highly recommend taking a look at my "FAQ" post on the front page of this thread, below the "Entries" post, in case you may be confused about something - there may be an answer waiting for you there!

I included the FAQs I have so far below as well:

1. If I enter more than once in this art comp, do I have a chance at two of the prizes?

Unfortunately, you do not. This comp is set up so adding entries on counts as more of a single large entry with a (possibly) bigger chance at earning ONE tier prize, and not as two separate entries with chances at two tiers of prizes. This is to ensure more people get a share of the prizes!


2. Where do I send art I make for the art comp?

You can send/post the art in any way you want, as long as I have access to it! I will link directly to the image in question in my entries post further up. So far I've seen a number of ways of entering your art, including posting directly onto the thread, sending it through pms, adding the image to characters' galleries on toyhouse (PLEASE state your cs username when using this method though, so I know who to credit in the entries post!), posting the image on another site (imgur, deviantart, etc) and linking it here, and the list goes on. Whatever you end up feeling most comfortable with!


3. Does quality matter on the entries?/How are you judging this?

The thing I look for most in these art comps is definitely Quality and Attention to Detail (use of character likes/dislikes, relationship dynamics, generally more "interesting" pieces like scenery or fullbodies with dynamic posing, etc.). Quantity does have its own merit, and may boost your chances of winning one of the tier prizes, but I'd focus more heavily on the Quality side of your entries!
