My dog really loves some hints of red.
Not sure my dog would be friends with any of them, but I guess Anovers knows how to be gentle. Not that they would come visit mine though.

{the only one I can pick out is the far left, which I would say is the sword and the stone. Maybe the theme is fairy tales, mythology / history, or-- to really stretch-- Disney movies?}

Me too; I’m lost as to what theme a snow dog who loves CS, a T Rex skull, and a water fountain are supposed to share. The scene as a whole gives me the vibe of kids messing around with magic in the woods and discovering time travel, but they said earlier that focusing on the big picture wouldn’t be very helpful.

There’s also a still sleeping staff pet behind the tent so Schuyler’s pup could still be sleeping.

I’m very confused on what the theme could be but maybe it’s something to do with Staff Pets? Like the multiple snakes reference the snake pup, the leaves and flowers as the flower pup, the shadowy rat and ghost as the ghost pups, the statue and fragile sticker being the cracked pup, etc., etc.?

there does seem to be a leaf near every pet?
my guess of the meaning behind the hint is that 1 item near each of the pets is of the same theme, so if we see whats common and identify which item per pet we may be able to guess the theme?
