{hmm...this intrigues me, because I'm thinking this one is Desmond's.}

{The coloring style matches theirs from most previous years [except 2019-- which looks more like the dino-pup 🤔].

Additionally my first thought on this was a shark-- which fits with the latter clues. Sharks have very good eyesight: "A shark's eyes are almost on completely different sides of its head, so the shark has a nearly 360-degree field of vision. Because of the tapetum lucidum, a shark can see about 10 times better than a human can in dim light." Additionally they have notoriously sharp teeth-- which we might get to see when the pup's smile reveals its mouth? The only part that doesn't fit is the first hint.}
{I'm just thrown off by the dino-pup's coloring style, compared to Desmond's previous dogs. But I'm no detective xD and I definitely agree the clues could point to that dog too. I guess we'll see!}

I was looking at their previous staff pets and I noticed an obvious aquatic theme. First the whale then dolphine, so I was actually thinking maybe a shark as well. And that pup does have great white vibes to it with the patterns, the thing I would see that could go against the theory is the red eyes. Now red eyes doesn't always mean evil but alot of people see it that way. So it wouldn't make sense for Des ( Who clearly loves aquatic life ) to demonize it with the red eyes. Sharks have even been shown to like being petted and stroked. I just feel like they would want people to see the softer side of sharks as they're often demonized. For example, if you wan't to show someone a picture of a dog and they have a bad take on dogs, you wouldn't draw them looking menancing with red eyes. Of course that's just my theory ^^ ! It's good to have a different perspective !

I do like aquatic animals, yes. C: And I've done a few shark petting pools in the past, they are rather sweet animals when happy, fed, and not in frenzy mode.
I do not think I know how my outcome's skin would feel like, though.

You picked out the right hints and are applying them in ways that are close-ish, if not mostly correct. You're in a good direction.

Eh, skin, fur, scales - whichever, lol. I do not think I've ever touched one.
The furthest one was the date hint. I'm starting to think it might be a bit niche, but for a site like CS I wouldn't think ot would be.

I feel like it has clicked - It's this puppy ! I took my previous statement and edit it !



Point 1: "The first day echoed around the world. The second was important only to me." - Desmond
Now I first orignally believe this meant the pup was growing on the 2nd day, but it slipped past my head that Des literally meant the 2nd growth !

Point 2: Desmond has stated that their pup has "Great eyesight"( Desmond ) which meant they could see good in both a day and night time setting. This one may be a stretch but bear with me, snakes may not have the best eyesight but they are keen hunters ! They have to be very percise since a wrong strike can mean the difference between a meal or starvation. They use thermal vision which allows the snake to see interal organs and heat sources.

Point 3: " Lets see how Sharp you guys are" ( Desmond ). Now this was questioned wether or not it was a hint but if it is, it again works with my pup theory. The snake pup has fangs which are sharp !

The comment about "I don't think I've ever touched one" is insanely intresting. If it something that can be touched maybe its something that is real. And alot of people haven't touched a snake before.

" Skin, Fur, Scales" Interesting to say that combination.. Snakes have scales, which people also called skin - snake skin - and since it's on a puppy, it makes sense that it would have fur.

Alas, I am the household snake wrangler, lol.
I've held a lot of snakes. I know how those feel, so that doesn't fit that clue. C; And we're still not pinning down the date clue.

Which season is your dogs favorite?

Anything with mild weather. Strong wind, harsh sun light, rain or even snow/ice aren't fun at all.

Is your pup full of energy or has a more mellow personality?
Is your pup an omnivore, carnivore, or herbivore?
Does your pup like to cuddle or prefer to be left alone more?

My dog is very mellow, my pup just a little less.
Please stay away with any kind of food.
My dog likes company, but cuddling is not an option.

Q) whats one of the most interesting things about your pup?

Not the pup.

I think it might be this one, strong/adverse weather could damage it, food would attract pigeons and other birds and the unwelcome outcomes from that, cuddling isn't an option (because stone?) but otherwise enjoys the company of people (in the park?) and of course bad weather prevents their company too, and the enimatic comment that suggests your pup isn't as attractive as it's grown form alluding to the ahm... distressed expression the pup has there (not pointing out the obvious of course)
