The silly sweet but stubborn and fiery one hummed a bit, then looked at them. "I...could train him, but would I need someone to supervise?" he asked. He didn't know if Coby would even let him. He wanted to be helpful in some way, though. "Then again...Luc could get over this fever in a day or two. The thing is the stress though, which...lots of things can cause."

Sandra drew her sword and held it out in front of her. "While I can agree that our Fleet Admiral is…not the most agreeable man on the planet, at least WE don’t step outside the law. We stand for justice, and it’s you pirates who impede that justice," she insisted. She twisted her hips to slash towards the young woman in response to the experimental attack.

"No, he was rough, but this wasn’t the first time he’d done it. He knew exactly what he was doing, and what the outcome would be. Either we succeeded and worked through things, or we were too weak to make good Marines in the first place. Helmeppo whined a lot at first, but we got through it. Garp wanted to train us in such a way that we’d never let ANYTHING bother us. I guess the doctors are kinda trying to undo that here, but if not for the doctor's orders…well I was trained in such a way that I wouldn't HAVE to stop just because of some stupid burns. Garp was tough on us, but only because he cared. We…" Coby smiled the tiniest bit, looking down. "We were his second chance."
Admittedly, Coby fully intended to push Linkk and push him HARD, but he would gauge the boy's limits. Garp had pushed him and Helmeppo when they were so sick or hurt they could barely stand. It had done them good, but he himself would stop a LITTLE before that. Enough to toughen the kid up without breaking him down first entirely. Would Coby be pushing Linkk when he was at his worst? No. That would be cruel. Would he push when Linkk wasn’t at his best? As long as he can still stand and move, he can learn. I’ll have to be tough on him in a lot of ways, and maybe one day he'll resent me for it, but it’s all because I want to see him succeed.

"You’ll get nowhere though. You’re up against two Devilfruit users, a wanted pirate, and a Revolutionary." He let fire race along his hand and crawl up his arm. "You want to try your luck? I’ll face you. I’m in the mood for a good fight. You look pretty tough."

Hearing the voice screaming angrily from somewhere inside, Kass smirked. She was one of the only ones from their crew left un-engaged at the moment. "If you’re looking for an opponent, I’ll face you." I'm going to die. But at least I’ll go out fighting, rather than stabbed in the back when I’m not expecting it. Her fingernails shifted into claws and her senses sharpened. She wasn’t a Logia, but she had a skill set of her own she was sure could at least provide a decent challenge. "It’s been a while I’ve gotten word of you, Fleet Admiral."

The boy hummed quietly still, and headed out to the dog. He found him sitting just outside the infirmary, since he wasn’t allowed in.

The gray eyed black haired male hummed a bit and didn’t move. The nurse would probably get mad at him. Not to mention he now has a cloth on his head that needed to stay there. He made a small sound as the other male spoke…He sighed a bit as Helmeppo was mentioned. He almost wanted to be petty and mention he’d run away…He didn’t bring that up, though was a little mad. He was mad the blonde man had made his fiancé and sibling hurt. He then simply nodded to his fiancé. He said “you were his…second chance?” and tilted his head.
He then turned his attention to his sibling a small moment. “I…I think I’ll be fine to oversee training until Coby is better. If I’m really only in here one more day I’ll be fine. I probably shouldn’t stress my arm, but I can watch him and give pointers.”
