There's a set of spyro pets as I recall.

Deer from April 2018 were based on Spyro.

Also the Standard Horses from April 2018 are based off of Fairy tales too.

I would have never guessed Spyro characters, but I see now that’s because all but the Spyro deer was based on level designs rather than characters

I havnt found a confirmation for the horses yet, only statements from other users that 2nd gen pets arnt based on or inspired by anything outside of the two parent pets. But then I havnt found confirmation on those statement either.

The BHA Sept 2009 horses are based off of a members characters.

That would explain why they have that BHA next to them, this was surprisingly easy to find confirmation on

the only thread about the BHA horses (searching by topic title)
And clicking on the linked account the horses have art in the users sig.
Edit:the user does have the horses in a group, dressed up and named <3

The original sleipnir and cerberus are based on their Norse and Greek mythological counterparts:

An actual Luca themed pet would be pretty rad, however, I very highly doubt this is based on Luca as it's from 2012.

I always thought the minis from May 2011 looked like they were from the matrix. I never looked into the whole set but it's still pretty neat to me
