THE CHIHUAHUA



As a Chi owner I am so very pleased. They're all precious! I've been looking forward to this release all week and I was not disappointed. 😍

Not gonna lie; little disappointed there was no greyhound.. You almost never see greyhounds. I never realized it until owning a greyhound myself, how little they're represented.
But I LOVE that Catahoula!! 😍
And can't forget this guy! ❤

It looks almost exactly like my little jack russell/patterdale mix I used to have

Oh, wow, I missed a lot of dogs. x.x They're beautiful, though! The altered lineart on a few of them are too perfect; especially the Chihuahua! The fennec fox legs definitely go better with that breed as opposed to the regular dog lineart! c:

EBT have been my favorite breed for SO LONG these guys melt my heart so much.



Also these are an instant favorite of mine - they'll go straight in to the hoard based on my rl Rott mix. -even if they aren't rotts)

(And I have to admit, these are the only ones I am really dissapointed in. They're such gorgeous/majestic dogs in rl, and the portions here are so wonky and it's super distracting. I just don't like it. . )

However, I TOO am very disappointed in the lack of selection for dogs. Why do some of the same breed but different color (unless it's the month's adopts). There were so many other breeds I was hoping they would pick. I know there are MANY breeds but, just gah! I was looking fwd to these.

NO Border Collie?!

NO Australian Shepherd -BTW which I have YET to see them do true to the breed standard with a docked tail! And they forget that some Aussies have rose tip ears...

No GSD -there are the older ones but, those are hard for many players to get.

Honestly I am much happier we got less represented breeds this time around . We already have several border collie & GSD dogs, other species & 2nd gens from those dogs.

Personally I have no problem withe the breeds selected at all - just the way that particular one was executed… especially with how good the others look .

They two bull terriers might be because the artist owns one or especially likes them and wanted to do an extra.

Like you said, there's so many dog breeds and I'm sure they wanted to try to do ones that weren't already on the site in some form. Plus there's the artists' own preference for breeds. Maybe they considered one of those you listed but decided they just liked a different breed better. Besides there's plenty of dogs for them to do another dog day set next year if the artists want to participate. They could do years and years of different dogs breeds.
