May never smiles. She hasn't smiled since she was a tiny kitten.
She is usually in a 'meh' mood, and is usually left alone.

Where it began and where it ended.
It all started May third. (The day the litter was released.)
May was brought to life. They didnt have many names for her, so they just called her "Kitten". Now, Kitten was a bit smaller than the others in the litter. She would always get pushed out of the way when Mays parents called, and would usually just get ignored.
This went on for 6 months. May started to get less and less ignored until she wouldn't even have much food, until she had enough. Mays father was always pushy and told her what to do. He would love everyone else but her. Her mother would just ignore her, no matter if she even got hurt. That was the last straw for May. She couldn't take it anymore, so she decided. She went to sleep that night, and was the last night she slept there.
Part 1
A new journey
May yawned. It has been exactly 1 human year and 2 months since she left her 'family'. Her eyes blinked as her eyes got used to the sunlight. She stretched and looked at up at the huge rock she sleeps under. May traveled to a clearing in the middle of the woods. It was very calm and had a large rock that looked like a curved-in wave, where she sleeps. Once a week, May made herself a bed out of branches and leaves. It makes her very comfortable, and thats what she calls home. She has been staying there and hunting her own food for so long. She had found so many butterflies, but hasn't seen another Sweeten in years. She sometimes gets lonely, but is usually fine.
May hopped out of bed, and slowly walked to a large tree with a massive whole in it. May hopped up the tree and gathered some food that she stored in the tree. She had put some berries and other edible foods.. but she was short on food. She only had a few berries left and an apple she found on a walk, so she knew she would have to find more food before it all runs out. May began to get ready, with her basket to carry the food in. She picked up the basket and then was on her way.
May knew exactly where to go. It was a place with many berry bushes and trees with apples and oranges hanging from the branches, swaying through the wind. Its a very nice place, has many good food for May to take, and is about a 5 min walk. She goes there often, as its not only her source of getting food, but a great way to get exercise. May calls it "The Berry Woods". She skipped over to the bushes and then began to pick berries and place it in her basket. It was silent. ..Too silent. May looked around, and had a feeling someone was watching her.
Part 2
Trouble
Mays ears shot up. "Who's there?" There was a rustling in the many bushes behind her. Mays fur was puffed up. She was alert.. there was something in those bushes. She growled, and then.. it happened.
A large brown bear leaped towards her. May was lucky enough to dodge the bears claws. With that jumpscare, she RAN. May ran as fast as her paws could carry her, but the bear was catching up to her. She knew this would be the end.. until she realized there was an apple tree not too far above her. If she could get to that, she could jump up the tree and knock an apple on the bears head if she was fast enough. With that idea, she sprang up the tree, and threw an apple into the bears face.
It slowed the bear down, but wasn't enough to stop it. The bear ran at her faster, until she met a cliff. She skidded to a halt and jerked her head to look behind her. The bear was almost at her. She knew there would only be one way she could escape that bear. Would that.. she jumped off the cliff just as the bear reached its paw towards her...
Part 3
Scars
"Ow-ow-ow-" May whined as she fell through the trees. She fell to the ground, but couldn't give up. She got up, trembling, and limped over to discover a pathway. She had never been down from that huge mountain that connects with the woods, and she needed to rest and get a little bit of energy back, she didn't know if she would ever get home again, and took a rest, surrounded by bushes and with shade from a tree.
It was around evening when a sweeten named 'Inkling' decided it was time he would go watch the Sturgeon moon. He got a small side bag with water and a granola bar and rushed out the little house he and his friends built. He was going to stay up late for the event. He skipped to the path and was on his way. Once in a while, he would stop to look at some of the flowers, but then continue on his walk.
A bit further into the forest, he sees an odd glow coming from an Weigela Florida. He then slowly approaches the bush, though hesitating, at the thought of it being dangerous. Inkling took a deep breath and quickly pulled back some of the bushes when-
Part 4
Inkling
"W..Who.. are you..?"
Inkling stood in shock. He had no idea what to do or how to react, his thoughts jumbled. He wanted to check if she was hurt, it didn’t look like she had the strength to do it herself. She was very… tired. It honestly pained him to see someone else in such a horrid condition. She was thin and looked weak and hurt, though she did look a bit fluffier than Inkling, though was quite dirty.
The pink Sweeten started to awaken. She yawned, looked up, “W..what..? Is.. someone there?”. She looked very tired, and probably hasn't slept in days. She yawned and began to awaken, looked up, and jumped, “W-who are you?! What do you want?!”. She looked worried and hungry. “I’m.. Inkling. What’s your name?” The other Sweeten didn't answer. She didn't calm down, either. “Well, what are you doing all the way out here? Are you lost?”
The other Sweeten looked oddly familiar. “No. I don't even have anywhere to go, I can't get ‘lost’.”
She began to calm down. “What do you mean.. nowhere to go? You have a home right?”
“Never had, never will.” “Well.. you have a name.. Right?” The other Sweeten paused. “May.”
“What a nice name, May! I'm Inkling.” That name seemed familiar to May. “Well, would you like to come to where I stay? It's nice and warm while the sun is out and not too cold when the moon is out! There's lots of plants, too!” Inkling's face brightened, as if trying to convince her. “S.. sure.. I guess.. for one night..” “Okay! But there's something I want to see first, wanna come?” “Okay..” And with that, they walked off, together, to watch the Sturgeon moon.
