So I played AJ way way way back, and I've started playing again. However, I'd love to have some other players help me through the game, like with all of the items and stuff? I'm going to become a member here soon, probably when I get paid again.

I haven't been on Animal Jam in a hot minute but decided to log back onto my account just for nostalgic reasons. Pretty disappointed to see my rare items (rim headdress + spikes) gone, but I also heard there was some sort of security scare. Oh well, I guess this means I'm for sure off AJ now hahaha

I haven't played much at all since like 2016, aside from logging in occasionally but even so, I would only be on for like 5 mins max. I just started playing again daily. I had to make a new account since my old one was hacked or smth and I lost everything lol, but yeah, I'm happy to be playing again. It's like a blast of nostalgia. I did forget all trading terms and stuff, but oh well aha. I have always wanted a membership, so I will be buying one when I get a job again, or at least money to spend.

The massive gap in value of rare items is just ridiculous anymore, imo. Like it's not even realistic to value things in spiked collars anymore because the price is usually outrageous.

The best way to earn spikes is to just play Forgotten Desert over and over. Sometimes you'll win spikes, but most of the time you'll just get smaller things like small den betas and clothing. You can save up those clothing and den betas and trade them for spikes.
If you're not a member, unfortunately it's pretty much impossible to earn any spikes. :c
