I need ideas, here is some I have.
Acornspot falls in love with Fallenpaw.
Hollysong and Mouseflight have kits.
Fallenpaw falls in love with Shadowflight.
A fire, maybe in chapter 2?

I think if you use a fire in your story, it should be symbolic of something. Maybe the fire can be a bad omen from starclan or maybe a forgotten exiled cat from ages ago comes back for revenge?

I vote for fire to introduce/reveal new character(s)
