very hard and unwelcoming to those he doesn't know, but
can be very kind and loving to those he trusts. he is the
type to push others to open up as well. if there is a silence,
he will fill it. he is constantly asking questions and questi-
oning orders, which can land him in a lot of trouble some-
times. he likes working with others, but is fully capable of
taking things into his own hands. hugo is fiercely loyal and
more than willing to give up his own life to save his team-
mates. because of this, he doesn't take well to others not
showing the same loyalty. if he even suspects wavering loy-
alty, he will make sure that it doesn't become a problem.
he can have quite a temper when things start going sidew-
ays, causing him to be rash and often to things without
thinking. in many ways, he can be a liability, but when he
actually gets down to taking care of business he can be an
asset. he is physically strong and good at hand to hand co-
mbat. he wouldn't be afraid to go into battle with no wea-

richest and he defintely felt that growing up. but that ne-
ver meant that he was any less worthy. after a bit of a ro-
ugher childhood, he decided to join the police academy
and change his life around. he successfully graduated. of
course, it wasn't anything like what he expected. as a rook-
ie, he was filing paperwork and giving out parking tickets.
but after having a crucial role in taking down a wanted
fugitive, he was finally noticed by his superiors. things
were really starting to take off in his life at this time; he
got a promotion, got married, and after another year or
two welcomed a beautiful baby girl named marie. it was
when he transferred units that things took a turn for the
worse. he got involved with some dirty cops that just pu-
lled him deeper and deeper into their schemes. long story
short, his wife found out and they got divorced. he was
also involved in an investigation into his unit. knowing he
would most likely go down with the other dirty cops, he
decided to go on the run. he took the first bus that arrived
at the station and never looked back. somehow, he got
involved with the zodiac league and found his way into
the gemini order. he was given the serum, but to everyone's
surprised, never developed powers. he was forced to watch
as his fellow agents gained incredible abilities. while he
wasn't forced to leave, he was certainly pushed aside by
everyone. he definitely became bitter. after a security
breach, however, his former team escaped (of course,
forgetting all about him). but that was alright because
a new squad was put together. he was given a new serum
and gained the ability to mimic shadows. he earned a
place among the others and now seeks to hunt down the
order that betrayed him... so he can destroy them.
