They live in a land that is forever night-time, though they can travel between different worlds and realities. When they feel like resting, they retreat to a cave they share with some lovely bat friends.

[optional] Where would they live? They would live in a dark canopied forest, the trees blocking any sun from reaching their dark fur. Staying most days in their cave, the sun has no chance to offend their eyes, the creature sliding between rocks and catching any sort of small critter that came in contact with them. Though when they do venture out, they head for the water, diving into the depths to catch other types of food and enjoy the darkness of the deep rivers and lakes.
