peace is a temporary affair. the very nature of the concept
invites brutality. corvidclan had ⠀escaped the harsh truth
of war⠀ for many ⠀moons, with the ⠀very idea of ⠀conflict
seemingly foreign to many of the members. but that is now
history, as the ⠀abundant⠀clan faces the barbarity ⠀⠀they
had avoided for so long. ⠀a rogue clan, one that abandons
the moral of the warrior code, has claimed the rich forests
of corvidclan, ⠀leaving the clan to ⠀retreat to ⠀the distant
moors that they had once occupied many leaders and moons
ago. but that is not the only thing they left behind- the
bodies of friends, family, kin were forced to be left behind,
with one of the notable causalities being the leader of the
clan, savagely slaughtered by the leader of the rogues. and
now, ⠀as corvidclan⠀ begins to make attempts ⠀to recover,
they are left to discover the dark history that was hidden
from them for so long... the clan, one that upheld such
standards for mercy before savagery for so many moons,
was built upon lies. now, the leader, burdened with the
truth, must find a way to keep the broken clan together,
less they fragment as the truth of their past is revealed...

⠀ｓｙｎｏｐｓｉｓ
corvidclan is a clan that has lived peacefully for many generations,
resulting in a clan with a history of nonviolence and abundance, ─
with full bellies and sheltered living. so when a rogue clan called ─
"the revenants" came, corvidclan was completely blindsided, and
suffered violent causalities, notably their gracious leader roestar,
who was brutally killed by the commander of the rogues, spectre,
in addition to one of their own warriors turning on them and ────
becoming a traitor to corvidclan forced out of their rich forest ───
home, the remainder of the clan was forced to the outskirts of the
territory, just past a thin river that separated forest from grassy ──
moorland. moorland that was in fact the original lands of corvidclan.
it is on these grasslands that the new leader uncovers the truth of ─
the clan, and their predecessor roestar. the clan of presumed peace
was built on bloodshed, with the very land they claimed tinged with
a bloody past. roestar, in an attempt to keep loners and kittypets ──
from stealing territory and food, had been killing outsiders who lived
nearby and hiding the bodies in the moors just beyond the territory
where her clan could not find them. the twist? she wasn't the only
one killing outsiders, having secretly made two of her warriors ──
become executioners. but they aren't the only ones to know about
the killings, as hidden in the shadows is a loner who bared witness
to the depravity of corvidclan. ────────────────────────

⠀⠀⠀⠀ｔｒｉｖｉａ
▷ roestar kept her killings secret from everyone except the two ───
"executioners" ───────────────────────────────────
▷ the bodies of the killed outsiders are laid around the riverbeds near
the moor, and will likely be soon found by a corvidclan patrol ─────
▷ it has been two weeks since corvidclan escaped to the moors ────
▷ kittypets have apparently heard of rumours of "the revenants" for ─
many weeks prior to them overtaking corvidclan territory, as the ───
revenants allegedly left a trail of chaos and blood behind them within
the city they once resided in ──────────────────────────
▷ at the time of the beginning of the roleplay, corvidclan does not
know about the dark secret of their clan excluding the leader, "the
moon", and "the sun" (and the two non-clan members "the hermit" and
"the high priestess" ────────────────────────────────
▷ "the hermit" found out about roestar's killing after going on an early
morning stroll one day, and venturing out past the territory. it was
there that they witnessed roestar and her two executioners killing a
kittypet, and after seeing the hermit, roestar sent "the sun" and "the
moon" to chase after and kill "the hermit". "the hermit" escaped and
never returned. ──────────────────────────────────
